𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟎𝟎𝟐 - 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐬

𝐓𝐎 𝐒𝐀𝐘 𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐀 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐏𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐀𝐍 𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓. Angry at the fact that she had been lied to for the past year, angry at the fact that her brother was alive and Carter didn't tell her.

After hearing stiles yell, Emelia had walked out of class and heard everything. She couldn't stay at school so she walked out.

"Nice car."

And as the person responded, she knew exactly who it was. Jackson Whittemore. Lydia martins boyfriend. She internally groaned, when she heard Jackson walking closer. "Hey." He said which shocked Emelia out of the daydream she was in.

"Hi?" She answered her statement sounding more like a question, before Jackson could respond, Stiles, Scott, and Carter came running out. While Emelia cursed under her breath making Jackson chuckle.

"Em?" Carter questioned his best friend, "what are you doing?" He asked, confused as to why she wasn't in class. "Ditching." She responded, she was angry but wouldn't let it show.

"Are you sure I me-," Carter went to speak when Emelia cut him off, "you can go with Scott and stiles. I'll won't be back until later." She said turning and walking away leaving them all stunned.

Carter froze, she was never like this. She always called them nicknames?

"You boys haven't told her yet have you?" Allison said startling them all, "hopefully she doesn't find out, she'll be pissed." Allison said, grabbing Scott and walking away.

Emelia was walking through the forest of beacon hills high, she was still angry but hopeful that her brother was safe, but what about her other family? She walked until she reached her burnt down home. Her eyes still couldn't bear the sight. But she froze when she heard a twig snap. "Boo!" A voice yelled out startling her.

"Jackson!" She yelled as she recognized the voice, while Jackson laughed. "What are you doing here?" She asked as he slowly stopped laughing.

"Taking a walk." He responded casually, "It's crazy what happened here." He said pointing to the remains of Emelias old home. The hale house. "Yeah." She responded as no one knew she was a hale.

"Supposedly only one lived." He said "Derek. Derek hale. Weird dude." He said which gained the attention of Emelia. Only one? What about her mom? Cora? Peter? Laura? She held back her questions.

"But what are you doing here?" He questioned Emelia, "I was bored and couldn't sleep so I just started walking and ending up here." She responded casually.

Jackson hummed, she didn't hate Jackson. As to hear it from stiles, he was a bitch. But Jackson didn't seem like one from how he was with her. "Why do you hang out with them?" He asked her, making her raise a brow, "Scott and stiles." He added making her shrug.

"I've hung out with them for years, and Carter." Emelia said, Jackson nodded. "Carter seemed worried about you today." He said, making her shrug. "He shouldn't have lied." She said her voice void of emotion.

"Truth hurts." He told her.

"Don't be dumb, stiles. I know she's here!" The two heard hushed voices, Jackson smirked seeing Emelia's annoyed expression.

"Ah emme! There you  are!" Scott's voice rang out, making stiles and Carter look at the two. "Jackson?" He questioned surprisingly, but Emelia rolled her eyes.

"I told you I would be home late." Emelia told Carter flatly. He shrugged. "I wanted to make sure your ok?" Though his statement sounded more like a question. Why would she be mad at him.

"Well I'm gonna go." Jackson said, as he felt the four staring eachother down, before waving his hand and walking away. "You're hiding something from me." Emelia stated glaring at the three boys infront of her.

"Psh!" Stiles said, getting nervous. "Never!" He said, but you could hear the lie from his voice.

"Scott?" She questioned, making Scott freeze like a statue. Emelia knew scott could never lie to her. Scott chuckles while Carter and stiles stare with nervousness lingering in their faces.

"Eme-," Carter goes to speak but gets cut off. "Veritas tempts."

Emelia had used the truth spell on Carter.

"A while back as you know Scott was bit by an alpha who we didn't know then he met Derek your brother, who survived the fire and is still alive and I didn't want to tell you because you were already upset so i thought keeping it from you was a better idea, turns out the alpha was you brother Peter who also survived. He actually killed Laura, to become an alpha and in the end Derek killed Peter to become an alpha and now he's turning kids at school and there's a killer going around." The truth was out.

Emelia looked at them anger, betrayal, and sadness, flashing across her face all at one. "Listen Emelia-," Carter was cut off when Emelia smacked him across the face.

"YOU LIED TO ME! YOU HAVE BEEN LYING TO ME THIS WHOLE FUCKING TIME? CARTER YOU KNOW HOW LONG I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR ANY SIGNS OF MY FAMILY AND YOUVE KNOW! PETER IS DEAD LAURA IS DEAD CORA IS DEAD DEREK IS ALIVE AND MY MOM IS DEAD AND YOUVE KNOW?" Emelia yelled out in fury, the forest trees rumbling.

Stiles winced while Carter nodded, "Emelia listen. I just wanted to protect you, you were depressed for days and I didn't want to put to much on you! I'm sorry, I'm sorry that Peter killed Laura and then Derek killed Peter! But right now. I need to you to not do anything stupid.

"Don't do anything stupid!" She yelled trying to calm down. "Like you have any reason to say that! You are literally going to make me kill someone!"

"Emelia calm down, please." Scott pleaded with the girl. While Emilia just closed her eyes.

All of the sudden a figure came charging from the woods full force at Carter, whacking him with a tail, the figure looked to be a lizard, while Carter fell down not moving while the creature ran off.

"CARTER!"
