Forth sat on the edge of his bed. His hands were on his knees, palms facing upward. He slowly rose from his seat.

His four friends are all shocked, but still on their knees. They are preparing for Forth's next move. But instead of kicking them away one by one, Forth goes to the kitchen, opens the Styrofoam food that Beam left behind, and starts preparing dinner. Plates, forks, spoons...

silence

"You can just eat it in its Styrofoam strait." Lam broke the silence.

Tul hit Lam on the head for that.
Park hit Tul on the head for that.
Max hit Park on the head for that.
Lam hit Max on the head for that.

"I am going to eat properly. With a plate, spoon, and fork." Forth said.

The four of them stopped hitting each other and looked at Forth as he walked towards the sofa, then sat down. 

" What did you just said?" Max thought he missed something.

" He wanted to eat properly." Park replied.

" With the plate..." Tul said.

" With using spoon and fork." Lam completed the sentence.

They were still kneeling at Forth living room. Forth raised his head and looked at them.

" Would you like to have something ? If I know you were coming, I would have brought more." He said calmly to his friends.

They gulped. Forth was very angry. 

" Are you by chance..." Lam tried to ask him something while Park stopped him while tapping his chest and back of his hand.

Lam looked at Park, but Park was looking at Forth.

"We are sorry Forth, next time when we will stop by your place we will let you know first and if you said No then we will not come." Park said.

Forth nodded and smile slowly. 

" I am glad you are feeling better now. He took good care of you." Park shook Forth's hand and went outside.

They usually don't do the handshake, but Forth looked at his hand and took it. " Thankyou. I am sorry I couldn't join you on hike and camping trip. I will don't miss the next one." 

Park nodded as other three shook his hand and went out. 

Forth continued drinking alone when he realized there were no drinks on tables. Beam always brought drinks for him, it was like he was eating in restaurant or at home.

Forth got up and pour water into glass. He drank it. Beam was right water taste best with meal.

Beam was staring at his ceiling on his room. He ate his dinner and wore comfortable. He was ready for bed.....

"This king-size bed is so big that feel lonely sleeping alone..."
Beam talked to himself as he tried to sleep.

Monday morning neither Phana nor Kit talked to Beam because they thought he ditched them for girls.

Beam tried to talk but no one answered him. So, he didn't explain anything to them while he was sitting and paying attention to the lecture. No one asked him for lunch either.

At lunch time when Lam asked Forth where he was going?

" I have to submit my assignment. I will talk to you guys later." Forth said.

" I bet he will go to the Medical canteen for a certain doctor." Max placed his money.

" I bet too, he did." Park said with a grin.

" Take your money back." Lam said and started having his lunch.

" You can't ignore it no matter how you try Lam." Tul said but Lam didn't answer him.

Beam was as usual reading a book while waiting for food, " Hey doctor Bramee." He greets.

" Hey, what are you doing here ? And how are you feeling now." Beam was surprised.

" I am testing the water I sell here ?" Forth said with a smile. " Someone threw the water in the trash can so I thought there was poison or what ......."

Beam blinked at him and burst out in laughter, " Yeah. It was a bit bad. Except some guy left a stupid message, but it's okay now.. Seriously, tell me ?"

" From the same week when you started your lunch in Engineering on Wednesday." Forth said, looking into Beam's eyes directly.

Beam was speechless, he can see the seriousness in Forth eyes about what he said now. " Are you not going to order something ?" Beam asked.

" Tell me, What should I try ?" Forth asked.

" Fish & chips are good here." Beam said.

" You ordered the same ?" Forth asked and Beam nodded. Fourth, put a water bottle in front of him and went to give his order.

Beam opened the bottle and drank from it a smile came on his face. They ate while talking about here and there.

When it was time to go back, Forth looked into Beam's eyes, " I submitted my report today."
" Good." Beam replied.
" And I will be doing my lab work every day and maybe I will get help from here and there. " He said to Beam.

Silence.

They ate their lunch silently.

" Thanks for the weekend," Forth said.

After Beam swallowed the water he looked at Forth " I didn't do anything..." Beam said.

Silence.

Forth got up from his seat, " Thanks anyway." " Good bye Beam."

Beam looked at him, " Good luck with your lab work."
Forth chuckled and walked out of the canteen.

Beam doesn't see when Forth left the canteen. He was shaking badly. He gulped down and tried to stop himself but when he failed he lowered his head on the table and hid between his folded arms. He closed his eyes. " He rested his arms on the table and put his hand on them to calm himself down.

" I really wanted to see you suffer but never thought you would die without us." Kit said, tapping Beam's shoulder as he sat on a table with Phana.

Beam laughs. 

" I thought you guys were still mad at me when you ignored me in the morning and gave me silent treatment. And left without a word." Beam said.

" We were just showing you that you shouldn't do that with your friend. You should always be there for you. Especially when you promised them." Kit said.

Beam chuckled.

" Yeah that's not cool ditching your friends just to fuck someone." Phana said.

" I wasn't fucking I was writing my assignment." Beam pulled the printed paper from his bag to show. " Look. I am ready to submit it to professor."

" But you weren't in your room and your car wasn't in the parking lot." Kit complaint.

" Kit I said I slept, that doesn't mean I went to fuck." Beam said.

Phana doesn't believe him and checks Beam's neck. There was no hickey.

" He is telling the truth." Phana said.

" Are you guys double checking on me ?" Beam asked with surprise.

Phana and Kit nodded.

" You lie too well, Beam..." Kit said.
" I don't think, even you know that you are lying...." Phana said.
