Zoe's personality and work behavior is blend of her mentors plus her own, primarily the eccentric Alexander Noble, the studious and highly intelligent Zelena Valdez, the gentle and quiet Jason Gideon, the emotionally closed off, driven, and brutal David Rossi, and the near sociopathic and violent Maze Valdez.
She can be a bit manipulative in her pursuits of getting the outcomes she wants which she learned from Gideon
Because of her ADHD, she can be oblivious to the feelings of others sometimes but makes a conscious effort to keep them in mind
Zoe's way of dealing with events are complicated, she has a lot of trauma for a nineteen-year-old girl and one of her ways of protecting herself is mentally blocking the memories so she's missing time. The first time was five days when she was twelve. And she's missing a lot of memories of those eight months when she was fifteen and missing some memories during the six months when she was seventeen to eighteen.
Zoe is and appears to be impulsive but this does not mean she does not have a plan in motion, she's just constantly forming possible plans and calcualting possible outcomes in her head.
