Promise

"We will meet again Mitsuri" Insect hashira Shinobu Kocho whispers softly to her best friend and hashira Mitsuri Kanroji who was a current demon right now, as she held her.

Tears swelling in her green eyes, Mitsuri whispers "We sure will Shinobu, in a universe where demons are non-existance" she said softly before landing a kiss on her lips "Im sorry" she murmur before crushing using her full strength.

Shinobu became limp and she dropped her sword as it clutter to the floor.

Nezuko felt tears in her eyes as she watch the older demon held the decreased pillar girl and begin absorbing her. She knew this was something Shinobu planned, but she didnt think it would be this soon to say goodbye.

Kanao was there with tears streaming down her pale face.

She was hurt, angry, and sad that she lost both of her sisters.

She wanted them back, but she knew that it wouldnt be possible.

Life was unfair.

Nezuko quickly rushed into Mitsuri's aid as she spoke "Mits" as the older demon stare at her with tears in her eyes before she wipe it away "Yes Nezu" she spoke softly sounded defeated.

Nezuko couldn't help but she lean in as Mitsuri's eye widened with suprise. Sure it wasnt the first time they kiss but she knew this was more of a distraction of her absorbing her best friend.

She take the distraction.

They pulled apart as she murmured "Thank you" she hugging her as a way to comfort her and herself.

Kanao sat down on the ground feeling her heart break. Shinobu was disappearing in her life physically.

"Goodbye Nii-chan" she mutters softly as Nezuko patted her sister's head also whispering "Goodbye Shinobu" as her head finally disappear as the purple butterfly was the only thing left of her into Mitsuri's hand.

Alongside her sword and haori.

Smell of poison was in the air of the empty room of the infinity castle.

Mitsuri devoured Shinobu who was full of poison inside of her body, which didnt suprise both girls when her belch ended smelling like poison.

Kanao broke down sobbing as both slayers went to comfort the poor girl.

"Here" Mitsuri gently gave her the butterfly clip "You want this to remind yourself about your sisters" she said while hugging her "Im sorry for hurting you Kanao. Im so so sorry" Nezuko weeping silently.

Kanao couldnt speak as she was sobbing hard and was clutching both butterfly clips in her chest. Both slayer giving her comfort and reassuring her at the same time while Mitsuri was full of regret.

Kanao couldnt blame her even if she wanted because she was way to nice to everyone. Mitsuri was friends with both of her sisters so she wasnt mad at her for doing what she did because Shinobu planned this in the first place.

But still..it hurts so damn bad.

Mitsuri felt tears dripping down her face but she kept her head high up.

She knew she will meet Shinobu one day..even if its another universe or recarination into a different era.
