Background:
Nathan was originally a Saiyan from another world, however he was sent to this very world for unknown reasons when he was a small child. He suffered from a form of amnesia due to hitting his head really hard during the crash. However, thanks to the help of his adoptive parents, naming him Nathan, he was brought up in a loving environment.
As he grew older, he discovered more of his innate talents. While many would assume his power to be that of Magic, in actuality, it's Ki. He was eventually brought up to the Guild Master of the Eclipse Guild as since he grew up from the Iluna District, his power was believed to be quite useful and definitely worthy to be part of the Guild. However on one unfortunate night, he looked up at the moon, transforming into a Great Ape, a monstrous beast that brought about destruction while he was out of Eclipse on a Quest alongside some others from the Guild.
They had to chop off his tail as Nathan couldn't believe of what he had become. His kind and carefree personality slipping away as he chose to take his training more seriously, becoming stronger and stronger, which also catches the attention of the Eclipse Council, even if he doesn't seem like a threat at the moment...

A/N: I understand that Saiyan scaling isn't exactly the easiest to manage, but I'll explain for this case. While Saiyans are known to be very powerful and dangerous at times, even though the Super Saiyan transformations could outclass a lot of things from Fairy Tail, I thought about this carefully. Essentially, the Super Saiyan forms will be limited to the base strength of what Nathan could accomplish, and if he doesn't suffer through near death experiences, he wouldn't be too overpowered. Though his first two Super Saiyan transformations would be more focused on his emotions for the transformations to unlock them. As for Super Saiyan 3 and 4, I will need to plan that out for those to make sense and work. Also, this OC belongs to MonarchChaos, so I recommend you go check out his work! More of his backstory will be revealed as the story goes on as well!
