Starclan's Last Prophecy (On Hold)

Chapter 1

I licked my pelt as I woke up from sleeping beside Skypool, I yawned

" Good morning Duskkit my little kit" My mother said licking me. I growled

" I don't want to be cleaned" She stared at me looking surprised, then I walk out of the den. My friend, Dawnkit came over to me, I pawed her.

" So I heard what happened with your mom, why didn't you want to be cleaned?" She asked me. I stared at her then replied

" Because it is embarrassing" She purred in laughter

" You need to look nice" She said, pawing me. I jumped on her, she falled backwards, surprised, She then kicks me with her back legs. I landed on my paws, I saw her getting up, I ran at her again, I noticed that some warriors were watching us. I didn't care, I blocked them out of my sight, I slammed into her and stumbled backwards. I saw that Dawnkit had stumbled backwards dazed, I took the challenge, I ran at her and jumped onto her back pinning her down. She looked at me still dazed, but all of a sudden, Dawnkit jumped at me while I was distracted she pinned me down I couldn't move or kick her off. I hissed, I was mad, I found out where to put my legs, but before I could kick Dawnkit off of me. I saw Skypool and Treetail come towards us, Treetail grabbed Dawnkit

" Mom we were playing" Dawnkit meowed in protest, then Skypool grabbed me, I hissed

" Let go mom" She didn't listen to me, she padded into the nursery. She put me down beside her, my mom sat down

" You were being to rough, I never want you two to battle till you are a apprentice" my mom said madly then brought me to our nest, then laid down. I pushed me away from her, I could see that she was mad because of that. I ran out of the nursery, I then started to walk, I ran over the camp which had trees and moors on one side and marshs and rivers on the other. I went over to the freshkill pile and grabbed a squirrel, it was bigger then me but I didn't care, I started to eat it, I was half way done when someone said

" Are you sure you can eat that whole squirrel Duskkit?" I looked up to see Skystar. I looked at her

" Yes I have eaten a whole squirrel a lot of times" I replied and started eating it again

" Ok when your done that do you want to see the leader's den?" Skystar said. I looked up at her

" Of course I do" I said being a bit muffled by the meat in my mouth

" Ok then hurry" she replied. I ate the last of the squirrel and followed Skystar towards the leader's den which was high up on a hill in camp, I ran forwards to keep up with Skystar's fast pace. Skystar stopped in front of her den and signaled with her tail to follow her, I bounded after her into the den. When I came inside the den, I saw fur of foxes and badgers

" Wow" I said amazed

" Yeah I killed a lot of foxes and badgers, it was what I was known for" Skystar said padding towards me

" Cool" I said and looked around. There were vines hanging from the ceiling of the cave, it was warm and moist in here I liked it. I looked at Skystar who was watching my glaze

" This is a great den, it looks and feels nice" I told her, Skystar purred happily

" Thank you, it is getting late you sould get to your mom unless she says its ok you can sleep in here" I stared at her, she bounded out of her den, I ran after her not as fast though. We ran towards the nursery, Skystar stopped, I tried to stop but I bumped into Skystar, she purred in laughter. I walked and sat beside Skystar, Skypool came out of the nursery and saw us

" I am sorr---" she started to say

" Duskkit has been invited to sleep in the leader's den tonight, if that is ok with you?" Skystar interrupted. My mom looked stunned and confused

" Yeah she can" Skypool replied looking at me, I purred in happiness

" Thank you mom" I said padding towards Skypool and licking her, she purred in happiness. Then Skystar got up and turned around and padded towards her den, I mouthed a bye to my mom she nodded and then I bounded after Skystar. When we got to her den we padded into it, I looked at Skystar

" I will make you a nest with some of my nest" Skystar said padding towards her nest and grabbing some moss from it. I stared at her

" Thank you Skystar" I said, padding over and helping her build a nest for me, once we had the nest done, we were both tired so we went into our nests. I curled up in my nest, I stretched sort of liking sleeping alone, then I curled back up and fell asleep.

I woke up in a dark forest it had dark clouds and dark trees and grass, I looked around then saw a figure of a cat coming towards me

" Who are you?!? I will claw your felt if you don't tell me" I yowled

" You are brave little Duskkit" The figure said coming into the clearing then I realized it was a fox

" Your a fox!?!" I yowled backing away

" Yes and my name is Flamingfire, I am here to train you if that is what you want" Flamingfire said sitting down and licking his paw, I stared at him unsure what to say

" That would be wonderful" I replied almost hopping in happiness

" Then we better get started if you want to be the strongest cat in the forest before you are made apprentice because then you will want to show your mentor and Skystar what you can do" Flamingfire explained starting to pad into the forest. I ran after him, dirt flying behind me, every few seconds he would look behind him to make sure I was still behind him.

Then we stopped beside a river, it looked like flowing mud, but when I touched it with my paw and realized it was water that was black.

" Why is the water black?" I asked, dipping my paw into the water again and letting the water soak it

" This is the Dark Forest it is where the strongest go when they die, if you listen to me you can end up here when you die, training other kits like you" He said looking at me, I nodded

" Do you promise to train with me every night, and listen to every thing I say even if I ask you to kill a cat?" He asked me, looking very serious. I stared at him thinking about it, I wanted to be the strongest cat

" I do" I said seriously but almost bursting with excitement

" Then as my apprentice, we will begin training tomorrow, and don't forget" He said pausing

" Don't Be Late" Flamingfire finished in a harsh voice, I nodded at him and everything faded away into white, I yelled but no sound came out then I landed on another cloud but it was white.
