The panting continued until I heard their voice. "H-He's down there". He said. I looked down the feild and there he was lying on the ground. "Shit". Harvey said immediately dashing down there. I ran but not as fast as he did. "Max!" I screamed getting closer. I finally got to them and max wasn't responding. "Max please". I sobbed hugging him. "D-do I call mum?" Harvey asked panting. "I don't know". I said sniffing. "Grace". Max whispered. "Max?" I asked sitting up. He opened his eyes and smiled. "What the hell happened?" Harvey asked. "What do you think?" He said sitting up. "Who the hell was up there?" Harv asked. "Tyler". He said bringing his knees up to his chest. "Your face". I said stroking his cheeks. He took my hands away and held them rubbing them. "I'm fine". He said smiling. "Uh huh sure you are". Harvey said sniggering as a bunch of boys and girls entered the park. "Shit we gotta go". Harvey said trying to help his brother up. I quickly stood up and crossed my arms standing infront of them. "Are you grace?" A girl asked. "Yes". I said shrugging. "Grace". Harvey said finally getting max up. "Ah harvey". Said smirking. "What?" He asked. "Long time no see". She said. He nodded and rolled his eyes. "Look I don't know who the fuck any of you are but we're leaving because this wasn't our fault". I said turning around. She yanked My hair back and I fell to the ground. "What the fuck!" I said getting up and pushing her back. "Grace". Max warned holding my wrist. "Touch him again and I'll do much worse then that". She yelled at me before they all left. I couldn't help but start crying. "Grace". Max whispered. "No!" I said before walking off. I just wanted to be alone.

I got back to the house and the boys were already there being lectured by Sara and Paul in the living room. I snuck upstairs and sat In max's room since tilly was asleep. I put my earphones in and watched something on my phone. "You ok?" Max asked coming in. "Not really". I said looking up at him. "I'm gonna have a bath, can you come help me clean?" He asked kissing the top of my head. "Yeah". I whispered. "K". He said getting a pair of swim trunks out his drawer then going into the bathroom. I went in 10 minutes later and sat down on the edge and cleaned his chest and back then his face. "Is that ok?" I asked. "Yeah". He said nodding. "Was you unconscious when we found you or was your pretending?" I asked sitting down on the floor beside the bath. "I don't know but I wasn't pretending I wouldn't do that to you guys". He said giving me a sympathetic look. "What actually happened?" I asked. "I went to meet Tyler like he told me to and when I got there he was there with some boys and then they beated me up". He explained. "But why?" I asked. "Long story that I'm not gonna explain because I don't wanna tell you because it'll hurt you". He said. "Please tell me". I said leaning my head on the edge of the bath. "If you really want to know".he sighed. "Last year me and Tyler's sister I guess hooked up I know I didn't tell you but that's cause I wasn't allowed to. Anyways Tyler found out and he's been mad pissed ever since". He explained. "Oh...thats not as bad as I thought". I said laughing a little. "Do you wanna sleep in my room tonight?" He asked. "I could do". I shrugged. "Ok, I'll be out in a few". He said as I stood up. "Alright". I said before going back into his room. I quickly went to tillys room to get my pyjama bottoms and put them on before going back to max's and getting into bed. He joined me about 5 minutes later and got in beside me and hugged My waist. We fell asleep like that
