i walked into the airplane , sitting in my seat , my mom was across the asile , two seats down .

i then saw a man with a guitar suitcase and a regualr suitcase sit beside me , he set his belongings into the cabinet above us. he smiled at me.

thats when the tv turned on and showed us the directions for the emergency stuff. as the plane moved the guy next to me kept looking at me .

i glanced at him. "yes..." i said. "hey." he said back. "hey..." i said a bit scared and confused . "shawn mendes." he said , i nodded Ashley grace. he smiled.

his eyes were red and glossy and i could tell he's been crying. "you okay?" i asked him. he nodded , "i just broke up with my girlfriend because im starting my tour ." i nodded. "eh , that sucks." he nodded

"i saw you hug your boyfriend and kiss and stuff." he said. i nodded. "well i dont know if we would date any longer but.." he nodded.

i smiled at him. "im 16 by the way." i nodded "im 17." we exchanged numbers and talked about to each other for the rest of the flight.

he was pretty amazing , his smile , his brown eyes . god he was perfect. i wish he thought the same about me.

* after the flight *

we got off , and shawn followed me out . "haha so did that guy really throw a desk at another student?!" he asked amazed . i nodded. "it was funny." shawn laughed.

"ashley!" my mom yelled from behind me , shawn and i turned around waiting for her.

"hi." shawn said.

"well hello there." my mom said shaking his hand.

"im shawn. shawn mendes." he smiled

"im andrea , ashley's mom."

"hi mrs. andrea."

she smiled at him. we all walked towards the luggage area to get our luggage , as we waited shawn met a couple of fans and i was a bit jealous.

instead of being in the pictures , i either took them or got asked 'are you dating shawn.'

and everytime someone asked that , shawn flushed. it was cute.
