Secretly strangers

The incident

Mia was home alone but she was only fourteen. It was a stormy night and her parents were out, Mia had a large two story house.
After watching tv for a hour she finally felt tired and decided to go upstairs. Mia had a fear of being home alone, I mean with all that's going on who can blame. Before Mia went to bed she fed her dog.
"Mojo come here!" -Mia
Her puppy looked at the door and started barking, Mia finally paid attention and walked over to the door which she then locked it.
"Let's go to bed!" -Mia
Mia picked up her dog and walked upstairs.
It has been thirty minutes of Mia sleeping. Thunder strikes and her eyes shoot wide open. Mia couldn't find her dog.
"Mojo?" -Mia
Mojo was gone.
Mia stopped panting so she could hear better and as she did she heard slow foot steps coming from the stairs.
"What the hell" -Mia whispered.
Mia got up and slowly walked over to her door, she turned the knob slowly and then she opened her door only to find nothing on the stairs.
"I'm overreacting" she thought.
Moments past as Mia is trying to sleep but to only find herself hearing more footsteps. Mia stayed in bed but about 20 seconds later she sees her closet door slowly opening. Mia pushes her body up and trying to see what is happening. Her closet door slams open. Mia stares until she sees a mask staring at her and that is when she screams. This person jumped on top of Mia and punches her in the face. Mia cries and is trying to defend her self but she can't. This was obviously a man, the man pulled Mia's pants down, she knew what would happen next but what she didn't know is if she could handle it.
The man then started to rape her.
"It hurts." That's all that went threw her mind. If Mia could guess an age she would say probably mid twenties. Mia was crying and screaming but the she held on to the mans arm as a way of saying she was not going to give up, she held on to it hard. The "killer" pulled out a knife and rubbed it on Mia's thigh, as he rubbed it he cut her leg.
"Ow!" -Mia
The man kissed Mia's cheek and pulled up his pants and ran out. Mia could not see the guy because he was wearing a full costume and mask. The one thing that scared Mia out of all was the blood rushing down her thigh and soaking the bed sheets, she couldn't move her legs because of the pain so she fell out of her bed and crawled to the door she then pulled the door knob and started crawling down the stairs. Five minutes later Mia's parents walked threw the door only to find something that would change their lives.
Mia gave birth nine months later.
