Chapter 1: Rejection

Celine POV

I woke up to hear the sounds of birds singing their morning melody and all the out doors creatures sounds filling my sensitive ears. I sat up in my blue and black twin sized bed.

I got up, stretched widely, stretching my back. Yep that felt amazing. I walked to my open window to stare longingly outside. My pack lived in the mist of the woods.

I was the eldest of my sisters, so I got the best view. The view looked down upon the deep blue lake and beautiful deep green trees surrounding the packs small village.

The sight was a treat for my emerald eyes.

My inner wolf, Annie, itched for the rough dirt under her dark paws.

I decided brae the rules, I needed to be free for a bit and run. So I jumped out my open window and phased. Landing on my paws, I looked back and saw my favorite pjs shredded. Fuck, I thought.

I dashes in to the woods, dodging the tall trees and I went. Maybe I could chase a rabbit! They are fast and clever, good training!

Suddenly, ironically a small white rabbit dash through in front of me going through a bunch of shrubs.

So I dashed throughout the forest, dodging trees and shrubs, almost landing in a thorn bush. "Smooth, real smooth Celine..." Shut up Annie (my wolf)

Suddenly I smelt a strong scent, it filled my nose. I froze. Something was close. Something bigger and more powerful then a rabbit.

A growl passed threw my about as I readied my self to pounce. A glimpse of snow white fur flashed by. I turned till I was face to face (or maybe I should say snout I snout) with the wolf.

The wolfs scent filled my nose. A powerful and musky pine scent. Icy blue eyes bored into my emerald green ones.

Annie howled "MATE" The wolf was lean and strong, with muscles that made me shiver. He was it. The one, the man I was destined to be with. Yay!!!

A mere second later he was gone. I watches him fly by. A sharp pain filled my heart. He left, he didn't want me.

I broke.

I should have never left anyway. I broke the rules for this, a rejection. I didn't need a mate any way. I had a pack to lead.
