Skylar's Pov

Theres some things in this world you cannot do and the worst being:

Never ever refuse a vampires request or love you never ever want to get on the bad side of them.

It's now 2099 and now the world has changed a lot , there are no hovercrafts or spaceships or that stuff but in fact everything in the world had changed once we all became aware of what we thought were mythical and those are vampires. Vampires are what reign over everyone human, they intimidate us and well they basically make the rules and we have to follow. Everyone is afraid of them everyone but me. You might think I'm a physco or something as they have the upper hand but to be honest I couldn't care less its how I've always been since I was a child I was always up for the adventure, don't get me wrong I know they are much much stronger than humans but they have bad attitudes they think they can waltse around without the slightest care and everyone was in their power.

So let me tell you about myself I have dark brown and brown eyes I would say I'm fairly tall as I am a model, my name Skylar Nicolhas, I am 17 years old I am just about to finish my last year at school. Yes even though the Vampires ruled doesn't mean they have not let us live our normally, we still are allowed to carry on our jobs and school and stuff.My parents work at a company which pay them quite well so I guess I get a luxurious life and I get payed for my Job so we don't really struggle for money. I'm not the only child I have 2 sisters Kiera and India who are twins and are 16.

Personally not all vampires are bad I know they are blood suckers and all but I have a best friend who is a male vampire his name is Jackson. He's really sweet him and his family are like the nice type who drink animal blood and respect humans. He controls his thirst around me and I feel safe I know he would never harm me.

It's Saturday today which means I don't have school which is cool, I glance over to the clock which reads 3:00pm, the house is empty my parents went off to work ( yes they work on the weekends they are practically workaholics) . Me and Jackson are gonna meet up at Starbucks at 6:00, I have a few hours might as well kill time by watching tv I don't have any modelling assignments at the moment.ooh news channel, I always wanna know what the rich and snotty vampires have to say! ( note the sarcasm)

"So as you guys have probably already heard, 5 of the most eligible vampire bachelors of England will hold a competition that will claim the love of a vampire maybe even two!! 20 girls over 16 will be selected by their school and will then go over to the mansion that is located in central London and there for a week all girls will compete for the hearts of the most richest boys in England. There's no backing out and tune in next Friday for the reveal of the girls selected, lets hope you all have luck to win over Lord Zayn Malik,Lord Louis Tomlinson,lord Liam Payne,Lord Niall Horan or will it be Lord Harry Styles??"

Huh let's just hope luck isn't on my side and I don't get picked, how about that? Oh gosh they are beautiful though.. What am I saying their vampires!! And not to mention don't care about us knowing them they will pick a girl and use her then dump her, whoever it is I pity them!

On Thursday that following week***

All I can see is Girls drooling at the sight of the 5 boys who apparently have to see the contestant and then will get to meet them. They all get treated like royalty urgh, why can I see Harry smirking at me?? Weird......

"So pupils as you are all aware in this draw I will select one girls name and that girl will get to participate in the game tomorrow" our principle said while I just felt agitated I hope it's not Jess,Alice or me (Alice and Jess are my best friends) cause we all share the same opinion about those rich kids Zayn,Harry,Liam,Louis and Niall. Omg so shocking right I didn't say lord all their last name I said their first name, bad ass!! Even though it was only said in my head....urgh the suspense is killing me from around I hear a few 'omg I hope it's me!!' 'Please not me' 'pick me.pick me!!' Seriously?

The principle pulls out a name oh god... Please not me not me not me please not m-

" and the girl that has been selected is....Skylar Nicholas!!"""" What?WHAT??WHAT!!!!! PLEASE SAYS ITS A NiGhTMARE

I hear a few oohs and gasps and some people look relieved and look jealous. Why are they coming towards me, the boys are and so is the principle they all have smirks on their faces except for Niall who just looks bored but he gives me a smile... Humm what do I do make a run for it or what?? I know maybe I should errr just pinch myself and hope this is just a nightmare!

I pinch myself and open my eyes to reveal 5 vampires and my head teacher who have confused looks on their faces then laugh when I look at them horrified.

"Woah you really do love us 'girls drool over us and I'm LORD Harry to you" Harry whispers while chuckling lightly in my ear and pulls back smirking, wait I said that before right? Bloody hell he's a mind reader wait so he can hear me right now uh oh!

"Hi I'm Niall and yes Harry is a mind reader if you haven't guessed" Niall says while smiling, aww I think I like him the best out of all of you and yeah I hope you heard that Harry! Harry just glares at me woah what got into his pants and died?

"Hi I'm skylar" I say while holding my and shaking his hand after exchanging hellos, maybe these boys aren't that bad but I wouldn't be surprised if they were just playing up to the cameras, there rich snotty vampires after all. Oh grasp I forgot again Harry can hear me! Uh oh maybe I can hide my thoughts? Err let me try shutting my thoughts out , Harry looks at me like I'm stupid.at least I tried right?

All the boys are chatting and talking about stuff while I'm getting looks off people and right now I'm talking to Jess,Alice and Jake ( jake is a friend hes really sweet and good looking but i dont like like him ya know) they said that maybe I could act all mean at the games and not win. Believe me the last thing I want to do is have 5 vampires loving me, I highly doubt it will happen though. Jake places his arm around me and gives me a hug and says that everything will be alright, I appreciate he's trying to reassure me but it's not working. I wonder how my dad and mum will react

Harry's runs over to me seriously fast, what does he want now? As he's stepping over to me he looks angry and confused he yanks Jakes arm off me and grabs my arm, he's so strong I can't even try to pull away he drags me over to the door and despite my protests and some worried and confused looks off nearly everyone in the hall. The rest of the boys seemed not to be in the hall where the hell are they! Great my knights in shining armour fail me now! He's hurting me err I wish he'd just let go I wonder where we are going ,so far we have just exited the hall and now look like we're in the middle of no where suddenly a woosh of wind hits me in the face.

What the hell.
