After the firework show, people in the town square start to disperse into small groups heading home for the night. The stalls were closing and everyone, including the children, were rubbing their eyes
"Mom but I'm not tired!!" A child mumbled rubbing her eyes sleepily while in her mother's arms,
"Sweetie, you can barely keep your eyes open, also this isn't the ending of this, next year is coming." The child pouted and laid her head down yawning before dozing off.

Amira sighs looking up at the sky for longer, watching the smoke clear away, and watching the stars come out of hiding. Y/N was dozing off behind her and it gave her a second to process what she was about to do. What was she about to do?
She looks down at her hands and sighs, she was about to leave her only sister behind to live out her dream. Did she think Y/N was going to hate her forever because of this?
'Yes' she thought to herself, 'Maybe I could get her one of those bitties? A little companion with her to help her when she needs it' Amria nudges her sister awake, her eyes barley opening before shutting again
"If you keep doing that then you won't be awake enough for work" after that Y/N groans and sits up closing her eyes and just relaxing a bit before they started to pack their things and leave.
There was silence between the two girls and Amria speaks up,
"Aren't you getting a new manager this week?" She thinks for a moment before nodding
"Yeah she's been working with us for a few weeks now, she's a whole lot more understanding than the last one. Remember Sara?" Amria nods and Y/N winces, "yeah, her grandmother passed away and she skipped work to go to the funeral. The absolute audacity of the manager to tell her 'get over yourself'" Y/N mocks in a manly voice,
"Wow. Just wow. How big of a piece of shite do you have to be to tell someone to get over themselves when they just lost someone?!" Y/N shrugs her shoulders
"I mean, he was the type of guy to be like 'when I lost so in so I still worked over my grief' like man this is a contest and if it was do you want a cookie?" Amria smiles and nudges her with an elbow
"Awe you're starting to sound like me" she sniffles "I'm so proud of you" Y/N pushes her over and they laugh finally getting to their car and driving off. The music was soft and nobody had the urge to turn it up, the whole ride home was quiet. Nothing needed to be said.

When they got home, nothing was said as they hop into the shower and get ready for the night.
Amria was brushing her hair when Y/N comes into the room with wet hair,
"Yes I'll dry your hair for you" Y/N smiles and rushes over sitting on her knees in front of her and she starts drying her hair,
"Anything exciting happen before the festival?" Amria smiles and shakes her head,
"Not really, just work being work" Y/N turns around,
"So no kids acted out today, were just" she puts her hands clasped in front of her face, "little angels" Amria hits her in the face with the towel,
"I mean they are always like that but not really, they also had naptime from 12-4 today"
"Dang!" Y/N gets off the floor and brushes her fingers through her hair, "must have been little angels then" she walks out of the room and throws the towel into the laundry basket before grabbing her phone from the charger.
Quickly going back into the shared bedroom of their 1 bedroom apartment, she throws herself on her bed, and pulls up a list.
"So what does the house need?" Amria looks away from the book on her lap and shrugs
"I'll put Landry soap, toilet paper, and then just some things from the grocery store. Maybe some eggs, butter, milk you know the basics" she nods and starts typing in the things that the house needs,
"That's not a lot, actually. Have you paid your half of rent yet?" She nods her head and she throws the same question at her,
"Yea, it cost me one of my paychecks" she fake cries dramatically and Amria chuckles
"Sorry, but it was your week" she smiles and puts the book back on her shelf and lays down,
"Already tired"
"My bones say I'm 90 but I'm only 21" she then shuts off her lamp,
"I love you"
"I love you too siser" the sound of the fan lulls them both to sleep.
