In the early hours of morning Mahir's eyes flutter opens because of the sun rays peeping through the window. He groggily opens his eyes to see the most beautiful view...His love..His Bela..sleeping in his arms snuggling to his chest..!!
He smiles at her and places a soft kiss on her forehead.. I'm sorry baby..Mein tumhare sath time nhi spend kar raha hu..I know you miss me and i miss you too..but I'm helpless ..this case it's something big and I'm assigned for it..
Shrugging off his thoughts , he gets up removing her hold on him careful to not disturb her sleep. He gets ready for the day and leaves his home not before leaving a note to Bela.
After some time, Bela woke up and saw the other side of the bed empty as usual. She frowns and turns to her side table to find a note left by Mahir.
"Good morning jaan.. I'm so so sorry i have work today too.. I know it's Sunday and but officers don't have Sunday you know.. I'll try to come back soon.. Take care of yourself ...I'll miss you so much..I love you baby..!! "
Bela reads the note and gets more frustated.Tears prick her eyes... Enough is enough..He's doing the same since more than a month now.. I understand and respect his work but he has a wife too..!!
Yes, Mahir is an IPS officer. It was his dream to become an IPS and he worked hard for it. He loves his work and currently since a month he's been busy with a new case. He leaves home early in the morning and returns home late at the night or sometimes stays at his station itself if required.
Now Bela is so hurt and upset with him that he doesn't have time for her. It's not that she doesn't understand. She did understand him but she missed him so much.. Theirs was a love marriage. Mahir used to pamper her a lot.. He takes care of her like she's a baby and Bela loves every bit of it.
They live with Mahir's parents Andy and Sumi. They also loved Bela as their own daughter. A happy and beautiful family it is..!! Bela owns a bakery which is most famous in Mumbai. She loves cooking.
Bela got ready and came down stairs to see Andy reading a newspaper. She greeted him and went to help Sumi in the kitchen.
" Good Morning Maa.." Bela wished her.
" Good morning beta.. Here take your coffee" Sumi said and handed her coffee and bela had it.
" Kya ban rha hai breakfast mein.. Mein help karu..? " Bela asked.
" Aloo ke parathe.. Ho gaya chalo table set krte hai" Sumi said and both went to set the table.
The three sat to have breakfast. Halfway through the breakfast Andy asked " Mahir kaha hai..? "
At the mention of his name, Bela stopped eating thinking about their time when he used to feed her with so much love.
" Kaha hoga.. Apne station pe hi.. Aajkal kaam kaam kaam.. Aur kuch dikhta nhi hai iss ladke ko.. " Sumi ranted angrily and sighed seeing bela upset.
" Ohh..I'll have a talk with him afterwards.."Andy said and continued eating.
Bela had no appetite to eat now. She was just playing with her food and after sometime gets up saying she's done and left for her room. Andy and sumi sighed seeing their daughter upset and thought to have a talk with Mahir about it.
This is what happening since a month. Mahir being busy and bela being upset and pissed , not talking care of herself and always drowned in his thoughts. She's not being her true self. Even Mahir knows bela is hurt and upset with him but he is helpless. The case which he is handling is taking a toll on him. He decided to spend the Sunday with her taking a break from his work but his work always meddles in his love life. An urgent work came up and he had no other option than to go.
