~Chapter 22~

Jisung's pov:

3 whole hours of walking non-stop was a pain, but I had to keep moving. I didn't want them to find me and take me back to that stupid mansion.

I wanted peace, to be free, to do whatever I wanted.

My cheeks were stained with dry tears, and my eyes were droopy. It was night now, colder than before.

I was shivering like crazy, and I couldn't stop. I let out a shaky sigh, praying for a miracle to happen.

Until suddenly,  I bumped into someone and stumbled back, but not falling somehow.

I looked up to see a rich woman that seemed disgusted by me.

"How dare you, young man! You must apologize for bumping into me this instant!" The lady said, and I backed away and bowed.

"I-Im sorry, miss." I said softly and straightened up after a moment, hurrying past her in embarrassment.

The lady watched with a satisfied smile before flipping her hair and went on with her day.

"Stupid Jisung." I said to myself as I kept speed-walking, but stopped when it started raining.

"God damn it." I cursed, looking around for shelter.

I saw one and hid under it, watching the rain pour onto the ground.

"It will get better, Jisung. Just be patient." I spoke to myself again, staring at nothing specific.

"I hope.."

Minho's pov:

"Get in the car!"

I stepped out of the mansion, feeling the rain pour onto me. I quickly got into the car where the others were waiting.

"Let's go." I said with a tired voice, closing my eyes as Bang Chan started the car and began to drive.

Felix looked at me in worry, seeing my sadness. He gently put a hand on my shoulder, which made me open my eyes and look at him.

"It will be okay. Jisung is just hurt, we will find him." He said with a soft smile, trying to comfort me.

"Even if we do, he isn't going to forgive me." I said with a hurt voice, looking away.

"He will, he's a kind person. Stubborn, but kind." He said as he moved his hand away from my shoulder.

"Alright, if you say so.."

"Stop the car." Hyunjin suddenly said, and Bang Chan hit the breaks.

"He should be here." He sat down his laptop and opened the car door, jumping out of the car.

The other members did too, but I stayed, not saying a word as they looked at me in confusion.

"You coming?" Seungmin asked, seeming a bit worried about how I was acting.

"No, you go get him. I'll stay here." I said quietly.

They all nodded and went to search for Jisung.

I sighed, putting my face into my hands, I didn't have the courage to do anything at this point.

Jisung's pov:

I was still under the small shelter, looking around and tapping my wrist. I was pretty bored, there was nothing to do but watch the rain fall and people walk by.

But suddenly, I heard a familiar voice call out my name. Too familiar, it was Jeongin!

"Jisunnnnggg! Minho is very sorry, just please come back to us!" He called, walking around and looking for me.

"Shoot, how did they find me?" I whispered to myself, quickly getting up and glancing around for a hiding spot.

There was nowhere to hide, and I was definitely screwed.

Until I had an idea, I grabbed a stick and threw it at a bush as a distraction, which Jeongin instantly reacted to.

"Uh, Jisung?" He said as he slowly walked over to the bush.

I took the chance to run, going as fast as I could without them noticing, but Bang Chan noticed.

"Wait, Jisung!" He began to run after me, and he was fast.

He quickly caught up to me and grabbed my arm, making me stop and stumble a bit.

"Please.." He said softly and quietly.

"Why should I go back?" I said angrily as I gave him a glare.

"Because Minho needs you, WE need you."

"You guys treat me like I'm a slave or something, I don't want to be with you guys!" I yelled.

"Just listen! We don't want to lose you, we worry so much about you every single day, thinking you would disappear, or get killed by some other Mafia gang. After that day you almost died by that man from another Mafia, we were scared. We love you, Jisung, especially Minho." He said, shaking a bit.

I stayed silent, realizing everything. I was so stupid, how did I realize this before? It should have known.

"I-I didn't know.." I said with a shaky voice, looking down.

The other members walked over, watching me with upset and worried expressions.

"Jisung, come back with us, please." Felix said, grabbing my hand.

".. I'm so stupid!" I suddenly said, yanking my hand away from Felix.

I turned away, grabbing my hair and breaking down in tears.

Everyone was surprised, trying to calm me down.

"No, Jisung, it's okay-" Hyunjin tried to say.

"I'm so miserable and naive! I thought you guys just wanted to keep me in the mansion like a prison! Somehow I thought, SOMEHOW." I began to freak out.

"I was so rude to you guys, especially Minho! All because I wanted to go outside, I should have known that I would have gotten killed!

"Calm down.. it's okay!" Felix said, hugging me from behind and tearing up.

I began to have trouble breathing, and my heart was racing. I was shaking, too.

"GO GET MINHO!" Bang Chan yelled at Jeongin.

He nodded and ran to the car as fast as he could.
