It was the finals of the Chunin exams but some Genin surrendered like Kankuro to keep his weapons secret, or some other stuff happened like Shikamaru was pushed forward as his opponent went missing so he was going to face Temari instead of his normal opponent. The finals were now going to take place here :

The first match was going to be Y/n vs Neji, Y/n was angry at Neji for the beat down he gave to Hinata but he was trying to keep his anger uncontrol. Both Y/n and Neji were stood in the battle arena as the others were watching from the stands including people from the village when they saw how far Y/n had got they became uneasy thinking if it was a good idea to put the Jinchuriki of the three-tailed beast. 

Neji " Stand back Y/n don't think about fighting me. "

Y/n " I'm thinking about it and I will do it. "

Neji " For Hinata? "

Y/n " For me. "

Y/n raised his guard and Neji got into a fighting stance.

Examiner " Begin. "

Y/n and Neji charged at each other then when they got close they both sent roundhouse kicks at each other but since they did they both missed each other, they both spun around and Y/n threw a right punch at Neji as did Neji toward Y/n their fists clashed.

Neji " You can't beat me Y/n. "

Y/n " Stop talking. "

Y/n took back his fist as he did Neji tried to punch Y/n with his right fist but Y/n ducked under it, he then elbowed Neji in the stomach making him curl over in pain, then Y/n elbowed Neji in the face sending his head flying upwards and making him jump up a little. Y/n spun around and kicked Neji with a back kick sending him flying back, when he hit the ground he tumbled for a couple of seconds before stopping he stood up and went into his fighting stance again.

Neji " You've gotten better since the academy. "

Y/n " If I hadn't then I should be sent back there. "

Neji " Then It's time to show off what I've learned as well. "

Neji then activates his byakugan :
