In the dimly lit conference room, [Name] sat at the head of a long rectangular table, flanked by his team of skilled detectives. The air was heavy with the scent of coffee and old case files, and several half-empty cups of coffee were scattered among piles of papers.

His team members chatted quietly amongst themselves, swapping theories and analyzing evidence from their respective cases.

"any information about the fact that there are hundreds of murders going on in the city?" [Name] asked his employees, his tone sarcastic.

The room fell silent at his question, and several team members cast sheepish glances around the table. One of his employees, a woman, spoke up, shifting uncomfortably in her chair.

"Not yet, but we're working on it," she said, glancing down at the open file in front of her.

"Well, work faster," [Name] snapped, his voice growing impatient. "People are dying, and we can't even pin a single detail about these damn murders."

The rest of the team members nodded in agreement, their expressions growing solemn at the reminder of the dire situation. "We've been following every lead we can find, but whoever's behind this is good. They don't leave any traces behind."

"Hey, [Name]," a man said, putting a hand on his shoulder trying to calm his boss down. "Maybe we should call it a day for now. We've been at this all day, and tensions are running high."

[Name] sighed, rubbing his temples as he nodded begrudgingly. "You're right, Lucas." he muttered, slumping back in his chair. "We can pick this up tomorrow. Get some rest, everyone."

a knock echoed through the room, [name] got up to check but Lucas pushed him back in his chair, "I'll check, sit."

It was Valencia, [Name]'s sister, she didn't bother waiting for anyone to open the door. She barged in and threw some files on his desk, panting heavily.

"Woah there, relax. Sit down. What is it?" [Name] was quite surprised to see his sister panting, it was almost rare to see Valencia this..scared?

"How can I calm down? Check those files yourself. Clues about the murderer that's been killing people. It's not just in the city of Reaveux now, some cases have been reported from nearby buildings." She slammed her fist on the desk.

"I'm afraid I already know that, tell me something new." [Name] put a hand on his chin.

"look, the murderer isn't an ordinary person. Have you noticed how only the rich or famous get murdered?" Valencia calmed down a bit, Lucas and [name] were relieved at that.

"I'm pretty sure, it's an assassin. Someone hired the assassin to do this." Lucas spoke up, sitting down beside both of them.

"[Name], what about you? What if the assassin comes after you? What if he does something to you, what if you're next, what if—"
