The days at the mountain cabin were like a dream for Taehyung and Juyeon. The tranquility of the forest, the crackling of the fireplace, and the cozy ambiance of the cabin provided them a much-needed escape. They had spent their time cooking together, going for long walks, and simply enjoying each other's company.

On their last day at the cabin, Taehyung and Juyeon decided to visit a nearby town for a change of pace. They strolled through the quaint streets, hand in hand, exploring little shops and cafes. The sun was shining, and the weather was perfect.

They found a small café with outdoor seating and decided to have lunch there. As they waited for their food, they chatted about their favorite moments from the past week.

"This has been the best week of my life," Juyeon said, smiling up at Taehyung.

"Mine too," Taehyung replied, squeezing her hand. "I wish we could stay here forever."

Just then, a young woman approached their table hesitantly. She was holding her phone, her eyes wide with excitement and curiosity.

"Excuse me," she said, her voice trembling slightly. "Are you... are you Kim Taehyung?"

Taehyung's heart sank. He had hoped they could remain anonymous during their trip. But he managed a polite smile. "Yes, I am."

The woman looked from Taehyung to Juyeon and back again. "Oh my gosh, I can't believe it's really you!" she exclaimed. "Are you two... are you dating?"

Taehyung glanced at Juyeon, who was trying to keep her composure. He felt a surge of protectiveness and decided to be honest, but careful. "Yes, we are," he said firmly.

The woman's expression shifted, and she gave Juyeon a sharp, appraising look before turning back to Taehyung. "Wow, I didn't expect that," she said, her tone less enthusiastic. "Well, thanks for the confirmation."

She walked away, but not before casting another disdainful glance at Juyeon. Juyeon bit her lip, feeling the sting of the woman's judgment.

"Are you okay?" Taehyung asked, his voice filled with concern as he reached across the table to hold Juyeon's hand.

Juyeon nodded, but her eyes were clouded with worry. "I'm fine. It's just... I didn't expect this. It's a lot to take in."

Taehyung squeezed her hand reassuringly. "I'm sorry, Juyeon. This is the downside of being with me. But I promise, I'll protect you from this as much as I can."

Juyeon managed a small smile. "I know. It's just going to take some getting used to."

They finished their meal in relative silence, the earlier lightheartedness dampened by the encounter. As they left the café, Taehyung kept a protective arm around Juyeon, feeling the weight of his responsibility towards her.

Back at the cabin, they tried to shake off the unsettling experience. Taehyung made them hot chocolate, and they sat by the fireplace, the warmth and sweetness helping to soothe their nerves.

"I'm really sorry about today," Taehyung said, his voice soft and earnest. "I hate that our private moments are intruded upon like this."

"It's not your fault," Juyeon replied, leaning her head on his shoulder. "I knew there would be challenges. I just... I love you, and that's what matters."

Taehyung kissed the top of her head, feeling a swell of emotion. "I love you too, Juyeon. We'll get through this together."

As the evening wore on, they found comfort in each other's arms. The crackling of the fire, the softness of the blanket wrapped around them, and the gentle rhythm of their breathing brought back a sense of peace.

Taehyung held Juyeon close, his heart full of love and determination. No matter what challenges lay ahead, he knew they would face them together. And that thought gave him the strength to keep going.
