Another shed came into view but Ian looked too exhausted to make it in one go and Alex caught onto that quickly. "Hey, let's take a break, hm? Here." he guided the injured man to the ground, sitting beside him. "You're doing great okay? We're going faster than expected so no you're not a burden. We'll get out of here and treat you properly." Ian chuckles despite being in pain. "You're just saying that to make me feel better. It works but uh, I know what you're doing." Alexander placed a hand on Ian's non-injured leg, as a tender sign of comfort and sighed. "You idiot, you-" he sighed ".. The shed should have something of use inside, maybe even some more painkillers" After a few more minutes they got to moving again.
They reached the shed and managed to get inside. Ian sat on a high bale of hay while Alex searched for useful stuff. "A garage!" The mathematician heard the door open and the other exclaim something. "What was that?" "A jeep! Gas-powered; must be the second one that they were talking about. There is no food or anything like that so, if you don't mind, we're going back" Ian sighed a bit in relief, the sigh going over in a chuckle. They got in the car and started on their way back.

Muldoon opened the garage for them, Ellie stood in the doorframe. Alex turned to her and said "Get 100 mg of morphine to the closest but safest room and prepare the bed if you could, please." She nodded and did as asked. Dragging Ian out of the car and into the bed was a bit of a struggle but the walk from shed to shed had proved to be more of a challenge than anything they'd probably had to go through in a while.
"Thank you Ellie" Alex took the syringe and gave Ian the shot, "Here you go big guy. Now rest, okay? I still need you alive and well." Ian looked over to him, already feeling woozy from the injection. Everyone had left the two alone for Ian to rest and that was what Alex was planning to do as well. "I'll check up on you regularly and I won't be far so scream if you need anything, alright?" He stood up, planning to leave when Ian mumbled while almost falling asleep "Please.." "Hm?" "..just stay a little longer" Alex smiled at him, "Okay, if it doesn't bother you" and took place beside the man again in the chair next to the bed. Making himself comfortable, he looked at Ian who failed to keep eye contact when falling asleep.
