Pencil was in bed sleeping peacefully, then her alarm started rapidly beeping .. loudly.
Pencil groaned and didn't want to wake up yet.
Then her alarm wouldn't stop so she almost pushed it too the floor, she got up then shut the alarm off. It was Pencils first say of Sophomore year.. so she got up brushed her teeth, washed her face.
Pencil opened her closet then panicked.. not knowing what to choose!! Pencil saw beige jeans, a gray top-hat, and a pink sweater vest with and orange under shirt so just took that.
Pencil ironed everything out, rushed out the door but before leaving.. she grabbed a
capri-sun and two pieces of toast before rushing out the door with her bag then locking the door. Pencil ran to the bus stop panting.. she made it.
Pencil made it to the bus stop taking her straw then drinking the capri-sun.. but suddenly she felt someone hugging her.
"What the- get you're hands!!— " Pencil looked down at the girl with black and white stripped leggings, wearing black shorts and a band
t-shirt. She had dark curly hair too.
"Oh.. it's you, hey Ruby." Pencil said smiling.
"HIHIII PENCILL!!" Ruby said with excitement letting the hug go.
"Okay you can let go now." Pencil said sighing.
"Awh okay." Ruby said as the bus pulled up.
"Yayyy!! Cmon Pencil lets go!!" Ruby said with excitement then paying the bus driver.
Pencil walked inside the bus but getting stopped by the bus driver, she forgot to pay.
"3.50 please." As the bus driver handed their hand out.
"Yeah let me just.." Pencil dug in her pockets.. then dug in her bag- SHE FORGOT HER MONEY!
"Well- funny story.. not funny I actually don't have any cash." Pencil said.
"Nothing I can do, get off my bus." The bus driver said but getting cut off by Ruby.
"Not sooooo faaaassstt!!" Ruby said walking up to the bus driver and paying extra for Pencil.
"Fine.. you are all good." The bus driver said.
Ruby smiled giggling then ran to a seat pointing at it so Pencil can sit next to her. Pencil smiled then sat down next to Ruby.
"Thanks Ruby, but seriously I could have walked it would have been fine-" Pencil said but Ruby put a finger over her lips, saying to shush.
"You're my friend I'm supposed to help you.. plus Freesmart sticks together!" Ruby said.
Pencil thought,
"Rule 10, never leave a friend behind."
"Yeah.. Freesmart sticks together."
Pencil said looking at the sunrise.. of course they had to wake up early, Pencil had woke up at 6:30am.. and she had to be at school by 8:00am.
"So what did you do over the summer??" Ruby asked Pencil.
"I mean nothing really.. I wanted us all to hangout but everyone had a lot to do. Me and my brother did a lot of hiking.. eh I'm not a huge fan of it but it made him happy so I guess I did it it wasn't a bad experience." Pencil said.
"Which brother?" Ruby asked looking confused.
"Pen.. can be PRETTY annoying.. especially when he's with Eraser. That boy group they have together.. then over the summer they all pulled pranks on me. It was really a pain in the a-" Pencil said as the bus stopped.
"Huh.. it's 8am already? Funny.." Ruby said grabbing Pencils hand then running out the bus door.
All they could see was a crowd.. there was so many people at the enter area. Then Pencils felt so surprised. Pencil looking in the crowd finding a girl with a red afro, dark red long sleeve shirt with black jeans.
