A chance

If I could go back in time with the present with me
I'd rather stay here

If I had the chance to talk to my past self
I'd rather stay quiet

If I had the chance to undo things I regret
I'd rather refuse it

If I had the chance to change some things
I'd rather not take it

If I had the chance to try again in life
I'd rather do it now

for it's the past that makes me myself
for it's the things I regret prove I'm human
for it's my mistakes telling me I've improved

for it's the present that needs a change
and the past needs to lay in memories
for to live it again couldn't be any worse
than an empty room with infinite worries_.
