Milly's POV:

I am currently sat on my sofa scrolling through instagram bored as fuck. My boyfriend has been very busy recently since the Premier league season has started back up and i've never been more proud of him and the club he's at, but this means i see him less and less.

Hearing a knock at my fore scares me shitless since i had no plans on having anyone round today since it was my chill day. I get up and open the door to see my sexy boyfriend Anthony stood on my doorstep with the biggest smile i think ive ever seen

"Anthony? Hi babe what are you doing here" i hug him and let him in.

"I have some news and i needed to tell you in person" He walks straight into my front room and plops on the sofa and stares at me with that smile that still hasn't fallen.

"i'm guessing it's good news by the massive smile on your face" I sit next to him waiting for his news.

"Okay so obviously last season for Newcastle i done well and i gave it my all" He speaks with a buzz in his voice

"Of course i was so proud of you and so was the Newcastle fans"

"Well someone else noticed my talent"

I furrow my eyebrows in confusion on who else could have noticed his talent to the point where he's practically glowing with happiness.

"Okay? Who was it?"

"Gareth Southgate" (let's just pretend he's still manager)

i feel my whole body freeze with excitement. "Are you telling me what i think you are Anthony?"

"If you saying that i got called up for the England squad then yes"

When those words left his mouth i felt like the proudest person ever, my boyfriend Anthony Gordon will represent his county in football. I stand up and start screaming. "OMG ANTHONY WHAT THE HELL IM SO PROUD OF YOU" I launch myself and hug him so tight.

"You're the first person i've told, i found out 10 minutes ago" He holds me tight and smiles even bigger.

"Anthony i am so incredibly proud of you, this calls for a celebration" i pull away from the hug and look at him. "You can pick, what do you fancy doing?"

A small smirk crawls onto his face and he hold my hand. "I've got a few ideas" He winks.

"Ewww your dirty. I was thinking more of a dinner date or something"

"I mean yeah we could do that as well"

"Perfect, we'll go tell your mum and dad the good news and go change and i'll pick you up. Don't worry about anything let me be the man today"

He laughs and stand up agreeing to my idea.

"Okay 'Sir' i'll get ready for our date"

"Antony i really am proud of you. My boyfriend is going to play for England like what the fuck!!!!"

He pecks my cheek. "As long as your supporting me i know no matter how the game goes i won in some way"

"Wow that was cheeky but cute" I laugh and kiss him.
