CHAPTER ELEVEN

Zarah was sitting in the same spot crying her heart out, she was hurt at the same time hopeless, she wished that she can erase her past. Her painfully past, the agony of pain she's feeling, the painful memories came in flashing in her mind.

FLASHBACK
Zarah hugged her baby on her chest as she entered the cab, she's so happy today, finally she's going to see her parents, her family, her siblings and at the same time she's so tensed because she doesn't know how they're going to take what she's going to present to them. She looked at her child and all the tensions disappeared, she feel pity for her child, she was looking at his innocent eyes, his small lips, hands and feet, he's so perfect, she thought to herself.
The cab stopped at the front of the Bello's resident. She exited the cab and  knock on the large get in front of her. The gateman opened the gate and looked at her and smile.

Zara'u is that you, no body told me you were coming, and the baby who's baby is that, the gate man said opening the gate door for zarah.

Baba Good evening, Zarah said going inside the house because she doesn't know how to start explaining to him.

The gateman followed her with her luggages, she stands at the entrance of the large door that leads to the main parlour of their house. At first she was hesitating to enter the house but then she gathered her courage and push the door. She knows that at that time all the house members are in the main parlour because it's like a tradition in the house, All the family members gathered in the living room every evening around 7pm including their father Alhaji Muhammed Bello.

She entered the palour holding the baby who was crying at that time all eyes were on her. Feeling all eyes on her, she was so nervous because she doesn't know what to expect.

Zarah you didn't tell tell us that you are coming back today and by the way who's baby is that, Munnir her elder brother asked.

Zarah was quite because she doesn't know what to say, she hope that they will listen to her and understand her.

Zarah are they not asking you, Ummi her stepmother asked.

Zarah was so tensed at that moment she's trying to gather what to say but the word are not coming.

Zarah, she heard her mother's voice calling her name , she turned her face towards her mother's direction.

Speak, her mother said slowly looking at her, Zarah started stammering.

Speak up, her father shouted.

Listen..... It's...not......what.... you're...... thinking, Zarah started saying stammering.

Is that baby yours, her stepmother asked.

Zarah speak before I lose my temper, Her father said.

Zarah was quite, she wanted to talk but the words are not coming.

Zarah how could you, Munnir said coming towards her. She hugged her baby protecting him from her brother.

You ungrateful child, how could you, her stepmother said. At this point zarah was crying bitterly because she knows that no matter what she says they won't believe her.
