Brother?

When I said my life meant nothing more than a dead man, I meant it. If my life meant any more than that...Maybe my mother wouldn't be dead. Maybe I would actually have the strength to talk to him. No, I still wouldn't.

I started walking over to where everyone was crowding. Today was the day of Suzaku Kururugi's execution. All I could hear through the crowd was the countless Britanians shouting for the death of Kururugi. The vehicle transporting him had just come into view. It was surrounded by countless knightmares, too many for my liking. But as the vehicle came closer to the crowd it suddenly came to a stop. And now all you could hear was people wondering why it had stopped.

But then it came into view. It was prince Clovis' car. The same man's car that Kururugi was being accused of killing. And on the front of said car was a masked figure dressed in black. The following conversation was very boring but two things caught my ear's. The name that the man in black called himself, Zero. And his voice. It sounded so familiar. Even if his voice sounded more robotic because of that mask. No, it really was him.

While being stuck in my trance I seemed to not notice that fighting had started. All of the britanian people where watching intently. You sick bastards. You love your form of entertainment don't you? I can't wait for me and him to destroy you. You'll see.

I then left the area. The next day I had learned that Zero had successfully escaped with Kururugi.

...

My name is Aserit Seradate. I am the son of a noble man, a snobby asshole. I'm around 5'11, with a very skinny build, but I am surprisingly fit and strong, all for a 17 year old. I have pitch black hair that goes down past my shoulders, though that will be changing very soon. That's because I am going to a school. It's called Ashford Academy. So I'm going to prepare myself.

I grabbed a pair of scissors on my desk and started to cut my hair. I cut my hair down till it was at the bottom of my neck, and my bangs I cut until they reached my bottom lip. I didn't want to cut them to short. I cleaned up the mess I made and headed over to my closet. They had given me a school outfit in advance. So I changed into my new outfit. After changing I grabbed my eyepatch on my dest. I put it on my left eye and headed outside my room.

"SO, you FINALLY decide to leave your room." Mr. Seradate scoffed. "Shut it." I scowled at him. He gritted his teeth but didn't say anything further. I left the man's home and started my way to the school. It wasn't to far away so it only took 30 minutes to get there. I finally got there and was greeted by a blond girl at the gate. "So, you must be the new student, my name is Milly Ashford, I'm the student council president!" She stated happily.  "Aserit Seradate." I quickly stated, causing awkward silence between us. "W-well let me show you where you will be staying."

She said before leading me around to my new room. She led me into one of the many buildings around the school. "Ok, so, as I think you know you are not staying in the normal dorm. Your father has stated that your staying here for the rest of your school term." I nodded as she continued. "This is your room and you will actually have two neighbors across from you. One is Lelouch Lamperouge, and the other is Nunnally, a brother and sister duo."

Wait, Lelouch is here!? If what she is saying is true then this is the first time I get to talk to him since...Never mind, but I also get to see Nunnally? Today is the best day.

"Okay, thank you, I'm sure my stuff is already here so I'll go unpack." She nodded and walked away. I entered my room and saw the boxes of my things. I had a lot of work to do. But that was the least of my worries, I needed to see Lelouch.

I exited the room and headed over to the other door across from mine. I could hear his voice. It was deeper then when we were kids but it was mostly the same. I opened the door and entered the room. I finally saw him. I finally got to see my twin brother. "Who are you?" He asked me standing up out of his chair. "Heh. You've always been the same Lelouch." He looked more confused then I've ever seen him. "It's me. It's Aserit, Lelouch!" He seemed to be stunned, but as fast as light he came and hugged me. "I thought you were dead!" I laughed and patted him on the head. "Well I'm here...Brother."

No. Now...I know my life means more. This wouldn't have happened otherwise....I'm sure of it.
