Dark secret

The wait

Jeff had never been so nervous as he was at that moment.

He is now at the police station with Apo and Tong.

I had given the documents to the police three hours ago and I didn't know anything.

There was no news.

he had left him behind even though he had asked them to take him.

-"hey...Jeff we should go home...so you can rest a little..."- that was Tong who had come as fast as he could after finding out from Apo-"you won't help Bible if you're still here-" the mention of his boyfriend and not being able to help him in the same sentence made him nervous and anxious.

-"Phi tong is right, why don't we go back to my apartment...we eat something and wait calmly-" Apo who was sitting next to him finally spoke.

His rational side told him that they were both right, now he couldn't do anything...destiny was in the hands of the authorities and he could only pray that everything turned out well.

Taking this into account, he nodded to both of them and let Apo guide him to his car and then go to his apartment...at the moment he didn't want to go to his house...that wouldn't help and Mile's house was not an option.

The trip was calm, Tong had gone home to take care of his son while Apo gave him shelter in his house. Upon entering he noticed a cat approaching, Jeff was surprised because he didn't know that Apo liked animals. He bent down and petted the kitten who happily purred for the attention.

-"He likes you" - Apo walked past him, leaving his coat and things on the table - "Do you have pets?" Jeff didn't look at him, he continued petting the animal.

-"hmm yes Bible took in four cats and a year ago adopted a dog-"I hear Apo's laugh, he smiled at the image of Bib begging him to give the new pet a home-"her name is Nyla...he doesn't allow me naming the animals...he says I have bad taste in names-" Apo's laughter intensified and he joined in...he hadn't laughed in months.

-"I think if it were for nong you would have a zoo in your house-" that was true...many times she had tried to talk to her boyfriend that they had to set limits...if they continued like this she would have half of the animals in Thailand in her house .

Apo crouched down to his height, took him by the shoulder gently and they both exchanged a look.-"they will find it, believe me..." Jeff nodded without saying anything-"go take a shower...I'll make something to eat"

Jeff followed his instructions.

The heat of the shower fell on his body and that made him relax even a little. He was under the water for a while until he noticed that his skin began to wrinkle caused by the water, he took that as a sign to get out. When he left he found a change of clothes courtesy of Apo, when he finished he left the bathroom and headed to the kitchen. Standing there in the middle of the room was Apo looking at his phone, he seemed tense. When he looked up and met her eyes he felt something was about to happen.

-"the police contacted him...they found him"

Jeff thought he had stopped breathing...and several thoughts ran through his mind in a flash.I

n the blink of an eye he left Apo's apartment, he could hear someone calling him but he didn't turn around...he wasn't willing to wait any longer.

he needed to have her boyfriend in her arms.
