Little Author's Note: Hey guys! Wow I haven't updated this story in... 3 years. Well I did start writing this story when I was in 9th grade, during my PE before one of my friends was transferred into my class. I know, I was a loner in the corner writing. Anyway, I wrote about 8 chapters of this story on paper- which I accidentally lost- and then began transferring it to Word, and then Wattpad. My old computer broke, losing all the chapters I had typed up and edited. So long story short, I never finished uploading it to Wattpad, this story isn't even supposed to be that long. Anyway, now all I have is my memory and motivation to finish this story. Luckily my memory is good. So I hope you enjoy this new chapter, I am trying to get back into writing now. With high school and all the stressful things I've been dealing with these past 2-3 years, it's been hard to have motivation to write anything. Luckily now I'm graduated, and I am going to start college soon (but I hope to continue writing, because I love writing). Another thing was I always prioritized my other story FLFA (which you are very welcome to read- it's about angels :) ) So I'm going to revamp this VH story, I hope you guys enjoy!
Sorry I ramble lol.

I woke up with a stinging pain in my head, like throbbing but with the sound of a drill, like the one my dad used when he was fixing our old house before we moved.
I stood up on a wobbly four legs, but fell again on my side.
What just happened?
It was pitch black; I can't even see my paws. I heard a noise in the distance, like something shuffling or rolling around. That means it's my cue to go.
My family must be worried about me, since it's so late. Dogs really don't have the full concept of time, I can't tell you hours or minutes, but I know when it's my feeding time, when its bed time, when the sun is rising and setting, and when it's too late to be out.
I learned about the last one when Tiffany snuck out one night through a window when she was 17, not without me trying to join her, and when she tried to climb back in she got in trouble for being out "too late."
I felt disoriented, I was so dizzy, and my eye sight was coming in and out of focus. I could barely see the street, all I was able to see were big bright lights zooming past me.
I had to get home to my family.

Finally I made it over the hill, I can see my house. I can hear voices talking; I think it's my mom and dad outside. How can I hear them so good from here? Dogs have good hearing, but this is a little over the top.
As I get closer I can make out my parent's figures. It's them! I gallop happily, yet sloppily, over toward them with a big smile on my face. I'm so happy to be home, the walk felt like forever.
As their eyes landed on me, I saw their expression soften up out of happiness. They were worried about me!
I'm so sorry Mom and Dad I won't stay out this late again, I promise.
"Angel there you are baby where were you?" My mom cooed.
My dad reached down and grabbed my face, then ran his hand down my back. As soon as he passed my neck he ripped his hand away from my little furry body.
"Angel what the hell is all over you?"
Daddy, curse words aren't nice. And I'm dirty? But I just got a bath, I don't want another.
