[Dad] Caleb Adkin's POV

"You okay back there sweetie?" I said to Adele in the backseat of the car as she was currently sketching on her purple white-dotted notebook I got her for Christmas a month ago since she loved to draw & paint; she wasn't obviously painting in my car though since paint would splatter everywhere, that my car-seats would be stained and I would be pretty pissed.

"I'm okay Dad!" Adele responded in a cheerful voice while she was completely engrossed into her little drawing shenanigans. I swear, she spends almost every single day, even every breath, drawing, and she would never stop talking about how she wanted to become an artist when she grew up, and I don't blame her; she can draw and paint really well, and she was just talented in what she does, and I was sure one proud father.

I was excited for when Adele would grow up and have an amazing future as an artist and have a life I never had; supportive parents, talent in something and actually pursuing with it, and a great young-adult life.

I was driving with Adele in my car, going to the store since my wife/Adele's Mom needed some margarine, milk, eggs, and chips from the store. I parked in the parking lot, arriving at the grocery store and me and Adele quickly got out. Me and Adele then grabbed a shopping cart and quickly rushed to the store since we both hated shopping, unlike my wife who can spend an ungodly amount of time in one aisle of the store, engrossed at looking at things, since she loved shopping.

I should of thought twice before marrying a shopping addict, but hey, I love her no matter what since she's pretty hot and knows how to work the dishwasher; there are more reasons I do love her, but some are rather... pretty inappropriate so Imma not share them, got me?

After managing to get all of the nesesscary items Eloise needed, me and Adele were carrying some damn cheap ass paper bags with no handles to the car since this damn super market decided to not use plastic bags with handles anymore which was a shitty ass move. "Why are all of our bags ripping Dad?" Adele asked as she scooped up the butter and her painting supplies from falling, "I don't really know Adele," I groaned in frusturation as me and Adele neared the car "These bags are fucking ass."

"Don't repeat what I just said, okay Adele?" I said as I caught myself accidentally cursing near Adele, "I won't Dad," Adele reassured me as we both set the bags in the trunk. We both than got in the car and I started the engine as Adele got in and buckled herself up. I then started driving again, focusing on the road, so me and Adele could get home as Adele started sketching on her notebook again.

As I was driving, my car went through a normal pothole, but then, my tire started flattening. "Shit!" I yelled as the car stopped moving due to the flat tire, "Sorry Adele, our tire just went fla-" before I could finish my last sentence, a black truck suddenly rammed into our car and flipped our car upside down, making us crash. "Dad!" Adele screamed as everything went black for me, forever.

10 minutes later.. Adele's POV

I honestly didn't know what happened for a few moments since I was passed out for a few minutes, but I then realized someone crashed our car. My head feels like it was hit with a hammer, throbbing and pounding with pain, with blood trickling from my forehead with a big cut around the left side of my forehead. "Dad..?" I groaned as I opened my eyes and was faced with a blurry sight.

I tried to focus my vision properly, only to find myself laying in a heap of trash and shattered glass, some of them poking into my skin, leaving cuts. My head was spinning as I started coughing due to the smoke coming from the car while my vision still blurry and unfocused. "Dad..?" I coughed out in a weak voice again, trying to look around for my father to make sure he was okay.
