CHAPTER 2: FIRST LOVE?

I do admit it, as weeks gone by, I started hanging out with Luis more, he's nice, he's gentle and caring. We share the same passion in almost everything, in gaming, in music and even in movies. We watch dramas together, play the guitar and sing together, play video games together. Almost doing everything together. He's like filling the gap my friends left. Some people still try to get their way, you know get back to what I did before, but Luis is always there to protect me and defend me from all of the rumors. So I'm not that worried anymore.

" Mom said thank you for the flowers for her birthday, it's sad tho that you weren't able to come " he said as we eat lunch together. " You know how strict my parents are, especially if they'll know that it's a boys house I'm going to, I'm gonna be grounded for life " i replied, I know, you may think my parents are being too much, I think so too. But I really don't want my allowance to be cut off or decrease. I need to save up for his birthday.

" By the way, I saw your locker lately, it looks like some people are going overboard, those lockers are school property, they can't vandalize it like that " luis said, he looked at me concerned, well, it happened 3 times now, and guess what I'm the one who needs to clean it up.
" Don't worry, I'm prepared this time, I'll clean it up later " 
I don't really want him to worry, he's getting involved in my mess. That's the last thing I want to happen.

" What happened to your head? Wait don't hide it "  I saw a bruise in his forehead, he tried to cover it with his hair but it's very visible now. Wait, don't tell me you fought with those haters. Did they do this to him?
" Just got into a little fight yesterday during practice " he said as he tries to cover the bruise again. He then looked at me with a smile and held my hands gently.
" Don't worry, it's just a small scratch "  he said reassuring me.

" Who did this? Tell me "  I said holding his hands tighter while giving him a stern look.
" I don't know if you'll believe me, but it's Vince, your friend, during training I mentioned you and he got angry, I just said you're affected by their actions before, then he exploded and punched me " what? Vince, I know he got some problems with his temper but he did that?

I messaged our group chat and told everyone I want to met them tonight, I don't know how I'll be able to get out from the house but I don't care.

" Princess, wow, did you jump out of your window just to get here? I'm flattered " Erol said the moment he saw me approaching them. But wait, where's Vince? Did he really not come on purpose?
" Where's Vince? " I said coldly, I really need to talk to him.
" He transferred to another school in the big city, I heard a fight happened in the gym yesterday, so Vince got suspended, we already received a warning from the last fight and now his father knew about it and made him drop out. He left yesterday." Ledon said, looking down in disappointment.
" Why didn't you say anything? He left without even seeing me? " I said so shocked about the fact he did that. Out of all of them, his the less I expected to do all of this. It must be true then, he fought with Luis and got suspended.

" Your boyfriend's right, we are causing you too much trouble Vyl, when you started avoiding us, we respected it. We saw a lot of bad things happening to you because of us, so we kept our distance for your own good. " Jul said, I haven't seen him this serious my whole life.

" I'm not avoiding you guys, I just got so busy and our schedule don't really match, guys, it's not your fault ok, I made those decisions before that lead me into this consequences now. Please don't blame yourselves "  I went near Max and leaned my head in his shoulders, I do miss these morons, and it's breaking me so bad knowing all of this. I should've cleared the air before anything bad happened.

" Princess, I don't trust that guy, please be careful. Even tho we're not near you, we'll do anything just to protect you " Max said as he pats my head gently, I know they will, they're my knights, even tho everyone says otherwise.

" Don't worry guys, Luis is taking great care of me, his not my boyfriend tho, you know I can't date, but his just like all of you, he's doing all he can to protect me. " I replied reassuring them, Luis will never do anything to harm me, I trust him and much as I trust these boys.

" Just please stay away from all the trouble, you know the new dean isn't gonna make things easy. I don't want to lose you guys, please tell Vince I'll miss him, I need to go now, my parents will be suspicious if I'm out for too long, I said I'll just get coffee "  I added and hugged all of them one by one.

" You stubborn child, let's go now. It's not safe to be out at night " Erol said and walked me near our street.

The next morning, is the day I wish I can forget, but it's all over the internet, my pictures with Erol. If my parents see this, I'm dead. Who posted this?, a lot of rumors are spreading that I'm a cheater, Luis is not my boyfriend tho, but he did make it public that he likes me.

" I told you, she's such a bitch, I bet she used those guys and made them her puppets, now she's targeting the innocent Luis? "

" Look, how is she even able to reach the advance section when her scores are this low, she can't even spell. "

" Do she really think she's that pretty? Gosh, I hate her "

Those are just some of the comments in the post, how can I even go to school now?

As I walk through the corridor, all eyes are on me, they're all whispering and mocking me. Even inside our class, they're all the same.

" Don't mind them, they're just jealous of you, but Vyl I already told you, stop seeing those guys, look what's happening now. " Luis said, it's not their fault tho. I can't even think of what to say anymore, I can look around, I can't look at my phone and I can't even look at Luis. So I just closed my eyes, as tears fell down my check. Then I felt a warm embrace, Luis hugged me and comforted me.

" It's ok, I'm here. " He said over and over again, until I stopped crying, he's right, I know he's always there, I know he'll protect me, he'll believe me.
"Thank you Luis, I promise I'll fix everything, I'm so sorry " I said while wiping my tears and fixing my hair, I can't let all of this destroy me, I need to make things right.

" Let's date Vyl " he said confidently, I looked at him confused, he knows I can't.
" If we do, we can clarify that those posts are fake, ill do it myself, I'll post a statement. You know how much I like you Vyl, and I'll do anything for you. Let's fix things together, hmm? " he said as genuinely as possible, I saw it in his eyes, his love and care for me. I can't just waste this, I can't lose him.

" How about my parents? They're going to make me transfer school if they'll know I'm dating someone " that's really the biggest concern I have, that's the family's number 1 role; no dating until we graduate. I can't leave this school, everyone I love is here, my friends, my loved ones, and even him, Luis.
" Then we'll have to do very well in hinding it, you're able to hide everything that happened last year, this is just a small obstacle, and you trust me right? I promise I'll do everything you protect you Vyl. " He held my hands and looks at me very seriously, yes I trust you Luis, and you're right, there's no obstacle we can go through together, as long as I have you.

" Ok, let's do it then. Let's make it official"
