Londyn's POV

It was dark and rain was pelting down on the windsheild. The traffic on the bridge was slow, we were barely moving. Then I saw something. It looked like a human shape, long purple hair.. It was  a person.
They were sitting on the edge of the bridge.
"MOM! STOP THE CAR RIGHT NOW!" I screamed at my mother. She looked extremely startled. "Londyn, what do you think you're doing screaming at me like that?" "MOM STOP THE CAR RIGHT NOW!" I screech again, and she pulls over on the side of the road. I wasn't waiting for a lecture. I threw the car door open and bolted over to the shape. "Don't jump!" I cried while I was running and the girl looked over her shoulder, obviously startled. I clambered over the railing and stared down at her. She was mousy and there were tear tracks on her face, visible despite the rain. She looked away. "Go away. I'm jumping, and you can't stop me." I frowned. "I'm not going away that easily..." I looked around. "I like your shirt." I say, pointing at her FOB shirt. She nods, silently thanking me. I sat down next to her. "You know, you only get one shot at life." I stare at the dark water below us, both our feet dangling over the side of the bridge. "That's why I'm jumping." She says and stares with me.  "Did you hear Fall Out Boy's new song..?" She looks at me quizzically and I look up at her face. "No.." "So.. do you want to hear it now, you know, before you commit suicide. You could jump into oblivion later, but I'll send you off with a good song." "Right now?" She asks and stands up, after I do. I nod and smile. "I can't whip my phone out in the rain, so we'd have to go to my place. I'm sure my mom won't mind." I climb over the railing and start towards the car, both of us soaked. "Mom, can she come with us?" I ask, gesturing to the girl next to me who stands there, looking at her feet. My mother nods slowly and I climb into the car excitedly, like I was going to Nana's house.  The girl opens the back door and doesn't get in, like she doesn't trust us. My mother nods at her a smiles, and she sits down, her expression blank. The car starts and we get back on the bridge, driving around now that the traffic has cleared up. The girl comes close to my ear and whispers two words:
"Thank you."
I sit up in bed, panting and rubbing my eyes. I just had a dream about the first time I met Octavia.
