The vibrant atmosphere of Hanwav Arts High School buzzed with excitement as Friday rolled in, the hallways filled with laughter and the chatter of students eagerly anticipating the weekend. Hayeon, Soomin, Yeonji, and Hyerin met up in their their usual spot during lunch in the cafeteria. By the time Hayeon got to the cafeteria Soomin, Yeonji and Hyerin were already sitting down chatting amongst themselves.

Hayeon strutted to the table and leaned back in her chair, her long hair laying over the backrest, an aura of confidence radiating from her. Soomin, her fierce yet playful rival and best friend, sat across from her, a smirk dancing on her lips. Yeonji, the ever-outgoing peacemaker, flitted between the two, trying to maintain the delicate balance of their friendship. Hyerin, the group's calming presence, sipped her iced coffee, her eyes twinkling as if she knew a secret.

"I can't believe everyone is talking about Chaewon already," Soomin announced, folding her arms across her chest as she leaned forward. "She's barely even been here a week!"

"I mean, have you seen her art?" Yeonji chimed in, a hint of admiration in her voice. "It's breathtaking. No wonder people are noticing her."

Hayeon shrugged, her tone teasing. "She's just the new girl. We all know that eventually, she'll fade into the background like every other transfer."

"Anyway's aside from her I heard theres a party tonight at Lynn's house" Hayeon exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "We should totally go! It's been ages since we've had a wild night."

Soomin, opened her eyes in excitement and leaned forward, her smirk returning. "Okay lets go but we'll need to be careful, though. We can't have you dancing on tables again!"

"Hayeon on tables is the life of the party!" Yeonji interjected with a light laugh, always the mediator in their friend group. Hyerin, the calming presence, just shook her head, a small smile playing on her lips.

But as the conversation flowed, it shifted to a different topic altogether. "back to chaewon though did you see how everyone's going crazy about Chaewon? especially the boys" Soomin asked, folding her arms, an edge of competition creeping into her voice. "She's barely been here a week and already has a fan club."

"She's cute i'll admit that, but not a bigger fan club than me, though," Hayeon smirked, letting out a chuckle, her ego shining through. She always believed she could captivate anyone with her charisma and charm.

Soomin's eyes sparkled with challenge. "Oh really? I bet you can't get her to actually like you by the end of the semester. How about this: if you succeed, I'll buy you the new Louis Vuitton bag. But if you fail, you owe me one."

Hayeon's heart quickened at the thought of the bag. It was a stunning piece, the perfect accessory to complete her party ensemble. "Deal!" she declared, feeling a surge of determination. "I'll charm her so well, even you'll be impressed."

"Just keep it friendly!" Yeonji piped in, her excitement contagious. "Chaewon seems really nice, and I think you two could get along well."

"Yeah, it's kind of mean if you make her fall for you and you just ditch her" hyerin added, looking at hayeon and soomin with a concerned face.

Hayeon shrugged her shoulders. "It'll be fine, plus its for a Louis Vuitton bag. how hard can it be to get the new girl to like me? I'll make it a game but i won't break her heart too much."

"Okay I guess do what you want its not my bushiness" Hyerin replied in a clam voice, nonchalant as ever.

Hayeon smiled then turned her head to soomin, giving her a slight smirk "This will be easy, tell your dad to get his money ready cause this will be game over before the semester ends"
