Mary-Anne's pov:

"Yeah I'm fine, it's just neighbour girls room is right across from mine, and I can see her from here, she looks stunning right now" I hear neighbour girl say to someone as I am standing up, I freeze up after I realise she is talking about me. 

I don't think she realises that her window is open and so is mine...

I look in my mirror that I had just set up and I am blushing, hard.

I look at her through the mirror, she is already looking at me.

When my eyes meet hers she looks away faster the the speed of light, I just laugh at her embarrassment then go downstairs to talk to my dad about what school I'm attending.

"Havensburg junior high, I heard it is a excellent school and that our new neighbour goes there as well so hopefully you will make some friends in no time" he said with a smile on his face i reply with a light nervous chuckle and walk back up the stairs to my room.

I couldn't help but look at neighbour girl "gosh I really need to know her" I said to myself, well atleast I thought to myself.

"Are you talking about our new neighbour?" My dad says

I freeze up then quickly calm down because it sounds like I just want to be friends with her, not anything more than friends, right?

"Oh hey dad what's up?"I asked him trying to steer the conversation away from my neighbour.

"Not much" he got up and walked over to the door.

"Oh and by the way the neighbourhood is having a barbecue to welcome us into havensburg and our neighbours will be there!"he said happily.

My heart skipped a beat.

The thought of our neighbour made my heart beat faster.

"Okay dad, sounds cool. Is it tonight?"I say trying to make him leave faster without him getting suspicious, because he is a clever man and can read my emotions very fast.

"Yes it will be at 5pm, so please be ready at 4:50pm and we will walk there." He said smiling.

"Okay dad" I sent him a quick smile before he walked off.

I let out a sigh and then groaned because the thought of meeting new people made me nervous especially meeting our neighbour ugh I need to make up a nickname for her, let's call her...

"Doll" I thought to myself as I looked at a doll sitting in a box on my floor.

I decided to get up and jump into the shower I stayed in there for longer than intended because I was thinking of things to say to doll, it was our first time meeting!!! I don't know what she likes or anything?! I hop back out of the shower with my towel wrapped around my body tightly so it won't fall.

I forgot my clothes in my rooms so I walk out of my bathroom and into my room and saw that my curtains were open but luckily doll wasn't in her room but would most likely be in there soon, so I rapidly grabbed my clothes and went bad to my bathroom to get dressed, do my hair, and put on some light makeup. I chose my favourite outfit of mine↙️
