As Jace woke up he felt a strange spark light from the Parabatai rune on his lower stomach, he soon realized it was Happiness pure happiness, he softly smiled thinking his brother has to be with Magnus, then he started thinking he had never felt that from the bond before had Alec never been happy has he been feeling awful his entire life, why didn't i help him or talk to him,
and Magnus, his brother came out he was in a relationship and he was too caught up in his own bullshit too talk to him, he felt awful, then he decided he needed to do something about it so he texted Alec that tonight would be a Parapatai sleepover and there was no getting out of it and nothing's wrong becomes he knew that would be the only thing on Alecs mind he was nervous but happy at the same time as he got up and went to train with Izzy.
When the sun began to fall Jace made his way to Alec's office, fighting with his hoodie to calm himself down, he knocked twice before he heard a come in from his brother and opened the door. 'Hey' he says walking in instantly becoming more anxious 'Hey, are you okay?'
'When i got your text i was worried',' Yeah i'm fine i just miss you and we need to talk nothing bad tho', Alec watched his face trying to determine if he was lying or not,' You sure?' He said after a while trying not to worry, 'Yeah,man i'm good just get in some comfy clothes and then come too my room, i'm not going to relax with you in a suit',
Alec took a deep breath, still nervous for his brother. 'Okay, just give me 10 minutes. I have to finish up this report and then I'm done'. 'Alright see you in a bit', and as he walked to the door he turned around,' And Alec?' 'Yeah', 'Stop worrying' Alec looked at him for a moment thinking 'I will try'', he finally said and Jace closed the door.
Alec's pov.
I stare into the door after Jace left, still worried as fuck but im gonna have too try and relax i move my attention too the report and see its only a complaint for a lost stele so i quickly fill it out and sign it then i start walking too my old room, as i open the door i get a weird feeling going back in there after spending most my nights at Magnus's and with that most of my things it feels empty i walk too the shower missing the smell of the shampoo thats at the loft,
that sandalwood smell the smell of Magnus as i get out i put on a pair of sweats and go to Jace's room having worries floating trough my head, i knocked twice before i heard jace yell, come in, so i opened the door and saw jace was in the bathroom so i threw myself onto the bed out of habit.

As Jace comes out of the bathroom Alec sits up on the bed, 'Are you sure there's nothing wrong?' 'Yes Alec calm down', 'please, man can you for once not be the protecting brother?', Jace said as he lied down beside Alec, 'that is not something you just turn off Jace you should know that you just beat up a dude last week because he was weird towards Izzy, i just have to deal with the both of you', jace scoffed 'you make us sound like a job', 'Sometimes you were' Alec said a soft smile spreading his face
'Okay that's fair, I think?' All Alec did was nod his head and Jace took a deep breath, 'so I don't know how to say this without sounding weird, How are you?', 'a way to not be a weird jace, I'm fine, why?' Jace took a deep breath before he said fuck it,
' you know i'm not good at communication but bear with me So when i woke up this morning i felt happiness from the bond and i don't think it has ever felt like that, so i guess what im saying was there something bothering you all these years you didnt tell me because you know you can tell me anything right?'
'Yeah i know im fine promise you' Jace looked him up and down before settling on 'okay i believe you i'm not gonna push any further' 'good' there was a long pause after that alec not knowing what to say and jace feeling awkward, they both just sat there in sweet silence siping their beers,
'So, sex been any good lately?' 'Jace what the actual fuck?' 'this is what brothers do, i know dudes aren't my thing but chicks aren't yours and i have talked to you about a lot of problems in that area...... plus i honestly want to know how the gays do it?'
A moment flew by with Alec just staring at his brother in pure shock 'What?' 'C'mon man talk to me, you never talk about anything slightly personal' Alec just stared and thought i mean he had a point he never talks about any off it but he couldn't until a short while ago since he came out so somehow idk how maybe it was the beer or maybe he was tired but he said,

'Surprisingly no,why?' 'this is gonna sound insane but judging by the way Clary acts and clary's herself she into some freaky shit' alec takes a sip of his beer feeling really uncomfortable 'still better than Mary Featherhall' 'oh god dont remind me i don't know what i saw in her probably just the giant tits' the pair broke off into a fit of laughter,
'As long as it's not her I think you're doing okay' 'Yeah I think so' they said, still getting rid of the laughter, 'Was Magnus your first?' The next morning Magnus came to the institute looking for his boyfriend and was met by Clary, 'Hey have you seen Jace?' 'Hi biscuit i was looking for Alec actually so now i guess we'll find them in the same space tho' 'yeah i bet' they made there way through the entire institute the gym weapons room, alecs office and finally as a long straw Jace's room 'found them' Magnus told clary who was checking izzy's room on the other side of the hall,'Aw that's cute' 'it really is' they said as they looked at the brothers hugging in their sleep closing the door behind them and letting them sleep.
