Sam is have been busy lately with there president of school student council. They have a meeting in a morning so she woke early and go to school. As she arrive to there she saw there president working on there papers on her table.
"Good morning Ms. President." she greet and bowed a little.
"Good morning Ms. Vice president."
"Is everything settled now?" she ask
"Yeah, i just finished it." president said while massaging the bridge of her nose.
"You seems tired why dont you take some rest?" she ask
"Its ok our meeting will be starts at 7 so we have to get ready." as she stand up and handed the papers to Sam. "By the way, whats the thing with you and that nerd guy?"
"Wh-What?"
"I mean its look like you like him." the president teasing her but she remained silent. "Oh come on Sam, im just teasing you, dont mind it." she chuckled. Sam just nod. "But he is kinda good-looking." she giggle.
"Lea... he is my friend ok, stop it and... he doesnt like someone complimenting or talking about him."
"Ow he really, a coldy nerd like everyone says." she playfully said.
"I think so?" They both laugh.
After their meeting, Sam stay to their office with president to talk with the principal. But she cant stop thinking about Li everyone knows him as coldy nerd because of her. After the she goes to canteen to meet her friends that will have a lunch. They keep chitchatting except Li who always just listening to them, as always he doesnt show emotions and have a poker face.
One of there classmate approached them. "Hey" he started. "Hi Sam." he smile but Sam doesnt care. He glared at Li which caught his friends. "So this is the coldy nerd they talking about." he starts talking again.
"What do you want Alex?" Sam coldly ask
He put his hands on his pocket. "Well i just want to say that..." he paused and lean closer to Li's ear. "You better know your place nerd cuz she is mine, this is my first and last warning to you." he whispered and smirked. "I have to go, bye Sam." he smile and turn back to Sam and pinched her cheek then walk away but Sam's expression is very annoyed.
"That piece of shit." Yuna murmured as she rolled her eyes. "Are you ok Li? What did he say to you?"
"Its nothing." he coldly answer
Sam's POV
There we go again Alex walks towards us and greet me. He confessed to me when we were at tenth grade but i reject him, he keeps interrupting me till now. He always like that he feels like he can get what he want and do what he want. His family is rich and one of the shareholders of Kang Corporation which who founded this school. But i dont mind if he is from a rich family cuz im from a rich family too. I hate him he always like bullying making fun of other students especially poor people, the school couldnt do anything about that so they turned blind or deaf when it comes to that issue.
As he standing in front us smiling i ask coldly. "What do you want Alex?" He put his hands on his pocket. "Well i just want to say that..." he paused and lean closer to Li's ear. He say something and Li furrowed his brows but i can see his eyes... fear. But he doesnt show any emotions on his face and he continued eating. Alex turned back to me and said "I have to go, bye Sam." he smile and pinched my cheek then walk away. Ugh that dirty hand touched my face! I feel so disgust and annoyance appeared on my face as well as my friends.
The next day, the principal announced to the school's broadcast "all students please all proceed to the basketball court for some announcement and orientation."
As SSC(school student council) member we were reminded earlier than the other students so that we will arrange some of the arrangements in the court.
"Lea, why they suddenly called all the students?" i ask while we waiting till all students arrive. "The principal said that the chairman of Kang Corporation will personally visit here and he will gave a orientation." she whispered. "Really?" i replied.
"After all of them arrive, you can all have to go back to your friends but no chitchatting ok? Observe your surroundings." she announced to all committee members. "Yes Ms. President." All of us answered. She smile and shook her head.
Li's POV
As we arrive here, the chatter of students make the whole court so loud. The principal walk up to the stage that makes everyone silent. "Hello everyone." he started. "You guys might be tired of standing, you all can sit, like indian sit... just sit were comfortablly at." he laugh. As we sitted as instructed. I saw Sam walking toward us and sat beside me.
"Im sorry for interrupting your time everyone but, right now is we have a very special guest... he is a friend of mine, he is the one who make my life comfortable and happy. I know that he never look-down other people even though he is a very successful person, he treat people equally so that people really respect him." the principal continued. "Please welcome... the Chairman of Kang Corporation." he smile as he welcome the guest.
A familiar faces came up to stage and principal gave the mic to the chairman, that man beside the chairman... is man who brought me back here. Its makes me furrowed my brows. And the chairman...
"Hello everyone, im Kang Eric the Chairman of Kang Corporation." he smile as he introduced himself.
Kang Eric that name echoed on my mind as my mouth suddenly says "Dad" my tears started to flow down to my cheek. That word make my friends look at me, confuse as well as concern appeared on their faces. I quickly stood up and run out of basketball court but my tears still flowing. Im still running but i dont know where to go until i found myself sitting on the bench.
I gathered all my thoughts but my silent sobs make it difficult. I clench my fist to ease myself and start thinking again. That man is with the chairman and the chairman turns out to be my dad. The scenario starts to change itself or i just didnt notice it before. Luckily mom didnt go to school today because she had fever. Wait a minute... today is the day when Alex and his group starts beating me. I have to be careful. I said on my mind.
Im still sitting at the bench when a hand touched my shoulder as i turn a strong punch thrown to my face make me fall to the ground. Its Alex with his friends laughing from what they just did to me. Alex grab my colar make me stood up but i push him away and i adjust my uniform.
Alex scoffed "Your in this place while your friends is listening to the nonsense of that chairman. I saw you cried. But its not fun... why dont you cry pleading to us to spare you." he smirk. the guys behind him laugh.
"I think that is a good idea." one of them says as he start to attack me.
But i kicked him right to his face making all their eyes widen. Why would i train taekwondo if i dont use it in this kind of situation. But i remember what Mr. Tao say to me so i controlled myself.
"I dont want to use violence over violence but you are the one who make me do it." i coldly said as i remain standing and adjust my eyeglasses on the bridge of my nose.
They didnt listen as they all attack to me at once except Alex.
