"Game Night at Shax's Place"

                          Chapter 1

Iruma was a little nervous, standing outside Shax’s door with a bag of snacks in one hand and his heart racing. Shax had insisted on hosting a “super exclusive, epic gaming night” just for the two of them, and Iruma couldn’t help but feel excited.

Shax flung the door open, grinning wide and practically vibrating with excitement.

Shax: “Iruma! You actually made it! I thought maybe you’d, you know, chicken out or get grounded or something. But here you are—my little brother, ready to face the ultimate gamer!”

He leaned back, motioning for Iruma to enter, his tail swishing behind him with excitement. Iruma laughed, stepping in and looking around Shax’s room, which was cluttered with game consoles, controllers, and snack wrappers. It was chaotic, just like Shax himself.

Iruma: “I wouldn’t miss it! I brought some snacks, too.”

Shax’s eyes lit up as he grabbed the bag.

Shax: “You’re the best, Iruma! Now, let’s see what you’ve got. Tonight, we’re playing until sunrise!”

They spent hours battling through levels, shouting and laughing as they got competitive. At one point, Iruma beat Shax on a game he’d never even played before, leaving Shax completely speechless.

Shax: “No way! How did you do that? This is supposed to be MY game! You’re full of surprises, Iruma!”

Iruma just laughed, feeling more at ease as they kept playing. Shax’s energy was contagious, and soon they were both sprawled on the floor, exhausted but happy.

Shax: “You know, Iruma, I always knew you’d be cool. But tonight? You’re even cooler than I thought.”

Iruma smiled, feeling warm inside. It was one of the best nights he’d had in a long time, filled with laughter, games, and friendship.
