The team had just come out of the airport and was settling onto the bus that would take them to the hotel. Shubman, with a knowing grin, slid into the seat beside Abhishek, leaving no chance for him to escape this time. Ishan joined in, sitting beside Shub.
"Ki haal hai?" 👀(What's up?) Shub asked, looking sideways at Abhay, who shifted uncomfortably.
"Tu dass" 😅(You tell me) Abhay replied, clearly trying to dodge the question. He knew that eventually, he was going to spill the story to Shub, but he wasn't ready to do it in front of everyone, not just yet. But Shub wasn't letting it go that easily.
So he raised an eyebrow 🤨 towards Abhay who nervously said, "Main ki dassan?"😅 (What should I say?)
Shub shot back with a smirk, "Oh hi dass de jo tu chhupa riya si." 😏( tell me the same thing you are hiding )
Ishu jumped in eagerly, "Arre, jaldi batao" 😁👂(Come on, tell us already) He was just as curious and caught up in the mystery of who actually knew what happened.
"Kujh vi ta nahi"🫢 (Nothing at all), Abhay mumbled but Shub's grin 😁 only grew wider.
"Main sab kuch janda haan... chahe tu kinni vi koshish karle, mere to kuch vi chhupa nahi sakda" 💁🏻♂️(I know everything... no matter how hard you try, you can't hide anything from me), Shub teased, clearly enjoying Abhay's discomfort😉.
Just then, Yuvi Paji, who had been listening in interrupted with a sarcastic comment
Tum dono je agar chup nahi hoye, taan menu dasan di lod nahi hai ki main ki karanga, kyunki tusi dono nu sab pata hi hai, hai na?" (If you two don't stop talking then there's no need for me to tell you what I'll do because you both already know everything, right?)🤣🤣
"Focus... focus... focus... focus. Jaddu, focus... focus..." Jadeja was mumbling to himself more like he was singing a song, after listening to the whole conversation between Shub, Abhay and Yuvi Paji. It was so funny that he was trying hard not to laugh🤭🤣. So to distract himself, he kept up his chant. After all, their main goal was to surprise Virat.
Hearing it, everyone's focus shifted to Jadeja 👀🤣. Taking advantage of the distraction, Shub and Abhay slipped away with Ishu right behind them. after all, he is Shub's bestie, so he would be the next target if he stayed. Luckily, they had already reached their destination. So, a smooth escape it is 😂😂.
One by one, everyone climbed down from the bus. They were waiting for the people to send someone to receive them. Also he had already taken the room keys in an attempt to keep Virat from discovering the surprise. When Mahi bhai called that person to let him know they had arrived.
Yuvi paji playfully snatched the phone to tease Mahi Bhai. He said, "Hey bro, your favourite yuvi paji speaking. We have reached! Send someone to get us, asap."
Mahi bhai didn't let it show, but deep down, whenever it's about certain "kiddos" he gets a little possessive 😂😂. After all, they're his absolute favorites😁 and Sonu Bhai catching the whole exchange just smiled knowingly😌
On the other hand, after Mahi bhai's call that person placed a conference call to two people. They were both surprised why he was calling them when they were just one door and room away? Once they picked up, he informed them "Woh aa gaye hain jo aane wale the".
"Tum unko waha jakar woh deke aao" he directed one of them. To the other, he said "Tum uske waha pe woh rakho"
