Heyy, long time no see
"If you don't sign the papers Mr. Miller, your wife will be forced to file for an absolute or default divorce." My lawyer, Lilac, said confidently, unshaken by Flynn's recent outburst in her office.
Flynn claimed he loved me, claimed he didn't need a lawyer, claimed he would never let me go, and had a tantrum in my lawyer's office.
Flynn was red in the face. "Who made you do this? Was it your friend? Who was it, Diara–"
"Excuse me," Lilac glared at him. "Mr. Miller, you're being absolutely ridiculous. This needs to stop right now."
I sighed, shaking my head. "Sign the divorce papers. I didn't need to be convinced to divorce you. You did it by yourself."
Flynn held the pen tight enough for his knuckles to turn white. He didn't want to do this, he was on the verge of tears again.
Last night, Flynn showed me documents that he kept hidden, documents proving that he was mentally ill. He had Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD), Flynn had a distorted sense of love for me...a love that is more self-serving.
And Flynn's parents, they thought I was going to save their son, that I was going to be his cure.
It was strange because they also took me for granted...they did whatever because I was whatever to them. I was so confused. They admitted to taking advantage of my kindness, of my not retaliating.
I was also to blame, for being too reticent. For letting them walk over me...but it's ok, I'm leaving now. I'm much happier now.
Flynn was desperate to keep me, but it had been too late, if only he had tried earlier, or tried at all, maybe–his illness also doesn't explain or validate him almost raping me and threatening me.
I had to leave him.
Flynn signed the papers, slowly, begrudgingly. "Fine, leave me." Was all he said, storming off afterwards and slamming the door.
Lilac turned over to me. "Are you sure you didn't want to press any charges?" She was speaking about the sexual assault, but I didn't, I just wanted to leave.
Levi already did a number on him.
I shook my head. "No, Lilac," I smiled. "Thank you, but all I want is to get out."
Lilac smiled at me. "Anything for my black queens."

Since Flynn and I were splitting custody, I bought Giles a real IPhone. I started him off with a motorola because I didn't want to spoil him, but now he's going to be facetiming his father and whatnot, I decided why not? I also got Benni a phone because now he was in my custody.
Mother hadn't been anywhere near here in weeks.
Both of them were excited about their new phone and a little confused about what a divorce is but not too disappointed. I enrolled Benni into Giles' school and they were so excited today they decided to take the bus to school today. After I saw them get on the bus, Levi called me and asked me to come over, so I decided to work over at Levi's house.
I am still getting used to the feeling of being excited to see him. It amazes me that I can actually use the words 'I love you,' and not in a motherly way. It's scary. When Levi greets me it's always a kiss on my head, always twirling me around to look at my outfit. It's always...
"You're such a pretty girl," he whispered after twirling me around. "My pretty angel." He kissed me, making sure I felt his love from his mouth and his grip on my ass.
I giggled, pulling away. "I need to work," I gestured to the bag that carried my laptop.
Levi frowned, obviously not happy with the fact that work was keeping me away from his grasps. "Let's go on a date." He said, kissing my shoulder as I grinned widely.
"Baby, I have to work," I said, trying to focus on the code on my screen as he kept touching me.
"No you don't," he dragged out like a child. "You have to go on a date with me."
I bit my lip, looking at my work. "Why are you actually convincing me?" I whispered to myself, smiling. "You're such a bad influence."
Levi smirked. "I'm a great influence," he lifted me up as I bursted out in giggles. "You need to have more fun."
I rolled my eyes. "Levi, you're a literal workaholic, you spend more days in the office than at home."
Levi bit his lip, his dark eyes gazing at my face. "That's about to change,"
I smiled, trying to hide the fact that the butterflies had awoken in my stomach. "You're so sweet," I whispered, pecking his lips. "Where are you taking me? I imagine you don't even know, seeing as this is an impromptu date."
Levi smirked. "I have an idea."

I squealed, I couldn't stop. I could see the smug look on Levi's face, him knowing he did his big one this time. In the back of the car were cute little toys, grooming tools, and on my lap was my own white pomeranian puppy. Levi had blind folded me and taken me to a petstore, where he bought me a pomeranian and waited patiently for me to name the dog so he could get a custom collar for my dog.
Latte. I named my dog Latte because Latte is Italian for milk and she's milk-colored and she's so cute.
"I love you so much Levi, I'm so happy." I whispered so he wouldn't hear my voice waver.
"I love you more." He smiled back at me. "But, don't cry, because I will park the car and fuck you until there are no more tears."
My thighs clenched as my eyes widened, putting my hands over Latte's small little ears. "With the dog?!"
Levi shrugged. "That's your dog now, angel, for all I care it could stay locked up in the trunk."
My mouth fell open in horror. "I won't cry, I'm good."
Levi smiled, content with my answer. "Happy Valentine's Day angel."
My eyes widened as I looked at the date on my phone... It was February 14th.
How could I not have noticed? I think I've forgotten about the holiday as a whole. It's somewhat of an anomaly to me.
I got unofficially divorced on Valentine's Day, but you know what...I'm also celebrating my first Valentine's Day too with Levi.
That's why he was so adamant to go out. Gosh, I love my man.
"Happy Valentine's Day Levi. Thank you for making it special."
He smirked. "I'm just getting started, baby,"
Byee, see ya later
