Vasundhara's Pov

"Marry me." The words slipped and he was clearly shocked as he stopped speaking and I can hear the person on the otherside literally screaming.

"Do you know me." He said after coming out of his trance .

"No" I said.

"Do I know you. " He questioned again

"I don't think so." I answered

" Then why do you think it's a great idea to marry a total stranger I could be a serial killer." He said and realization dawned upon me I'm officially a gone case .

"But you're not .....are you." I said with uncertainty .

"No that was a hypothetical situation. " He said

"Oh but I really need to marry you today." I said with urgency

"And why is that so,why me." He asked

"Look nothing personal but I need to marry someone and you're the only one who passes the criteria until you're suggesting I marry the old man sitting across the road ." I said sarcastically

"Lady I don't even know your name how can I marry you on such short notice. " He said with seriousness

"Not an issue let me introduce myself I'm Vasundhara Awasthi , I'm a heart seargon in St. Thomas' Hospital, I'm 27 years old and just got ditched by my boyfriend last minute. " I said with a hint of humor I think I saw his eyes go a shade darker.

"So you're basically using me as a side piece. " He said with a hint of something I can't comprehend, but that doesn't mean I'll let him feel insecure.

I pulled out my phone called Jack all the time looking straight into his eyes.

"Hello " His shrill voice came from the other side

"I'm breaking up with you" I said with seriousness in my voice

"Wh..hat why Babe is their anything I've done." He said I could feel panic surging through his voice

"Did you ,I don't know anyways I'm getting married." I said

"How I mean are you upset about the wedding baby we'll have a wedding after my meeting maybe next week." He said

"Screw you, idc anymore I ain't waiting for you have fun having brunch with Veronica and her father. " I said

"Babe I can exp-." I ended the call,he looked towards me with satisfaction

"Now you're my main piece happy." I chirped

"But why do you wanna get married today." He asked the obvious

"Well umm....my goal was to piss my brother but you know what I changed it so now it's to prove the asshole that I'm better off without him." I said

"Why marrying him would've pissed your brother. Why'd you think you need to prove yourself?" He said

"You've so many questions marry me and I'll answer them." I said

"What will happen after the wedding." He asked

"On our first anniversary you need to come back and sign the divorce and it'll be settled. " I said
