Chapter one: Party

Hii! Short chapter. I'll try and keep it as clean as possible, but I do go straightforward, but I won't go too fast. Hope you enjoy ___________________________________

Shadow's POV:
Today was the bat's birthday. Of course, she was going to have a party at her club. She came over and forced me to go with her. She usually did. I didn't really care, I just agreed for the alcohol. When we got there, everyone was there happy and such. I sighed and left the crowd. I don't do good in social settings. I actually hate talking to others or even to be near their idiocy.

Most of her friends surrounded her. Everyone wishing her a happy birthday, getting her gifts. I was too busy at the bar while everyone danced with their sweaty bodies. It was purely disgusting. Of course, Rouge was mostly hanging out with her boyfriend, Knuckles. They've been dating for quite a while. I don't really care how the relationship started, but it did. I drank bourbon to waste myself from this dreadful night.

I heard a familiar voice call out to me. An annoying one that is..

"Heya, Shadz!" The blue idiot spoke to me. I sighed turning around in my chair with the glass of beer in my hand. "What is it, Hedgehog?" I asked with an annoyed and frustrated tone. He smiled at me. I hate that stupid grin. How is he always so cheerful and happy?

"Just keeping you company is all. Saw you here alone and decided to join." Sonic replied casually. I scoffed and rolled my eyes. Of course the idiot would go out of his way to hang out with me. "I don't need your company." I complained.  I hated that blue hedgehog. All he does is bother me and tries to get to know me.

"Maybe not.. Whatcha drinking?" Sonic asked, totally ignoring my comment. I sighed and answered his question. "Bourbon." It was a simple and quick answer to which Sonic nodded to. "Good choice." He replied. He, himself, got a drink as well. He went for the classic tequila. All the shots were free since it was Rouge's party and most of her friends were here. We both drank and chatted. Even though I hated the blue hedgehog, I was able to connect with him quick.

We chatted for what felt like hours. It was mostly of random things, but slowly we got drunk and frisky. Suddenly, with the hedgehog I thought I hated, I flirted and suggested things we shouldn't have. All the alcohol working on our mind while our logical part of our minds were shut off completely. Next thing I knew, I was being dragged to one of the rooms in Rouge's club by Sonic. Honestly.. I didn't mind it.

We were getting heated fast. Once the door shut behind us, things got intimate. Quickly we latched our lips together in a kiss. The taste of tequila lingering on his lips. His lips warm and soft as he kissed back as well. All I remember was the feeling of vulnerability and heat. I could remember all the soft noises from Sonic, the movements and all.. It was intoxicating. I would never admit it, but I couldn't help but love it. That's what terrified me. What the hell were all these feelings? One thing I couldn't get off my mind was the way he looked at me. Those big emerald green eyes I thought I hated full of warmth and affection. I couldn't handle it. The next morning after the hook up, I panicked and left. I didn't want anything to do with this... at least.. that's what I thought.
