chapter twenty five

Jihana POV :
We spent that night in that room, for the first time we were sharing a room but luckily we had separate beds.
Tomorrow of that day when I woke up Jackson was already awake, doing some business on his phone.
When he noticed I'm awake he walked towards my bed and placed a bottle of pills on the nightstand. "Take these before you forget" I yawned "Good morning to you too" I narrowu my sleepy eyes and got up from bed. I grabbed a bottle of water from night stand and took my pill. "Satisfied?"
I yawned again and walked out of the room to the bathroom. A few minutes later I came back, I still was in Eliza's clothes that she gave me last night.
I was about to grab my yesterday dress but I preferred to keep Eliza's on.
Jiha : "are you coming for breakfast?" Jackson nodded and put his phone in his pocket before following me.
We went down stairs and saw every one was already sitting by the table and eating breakfast.
"Good morning" I said as I sat on the chair. "Good morning" Jackson said after me and sat besides me, started eating breakfast.
Justin : "I heard they gave you the room with separate beds, Jackson it must've been a hard night for you, huh?" I choked on my tea and placed the cup down. "Seriously Justin?!" Justin smirked in return and said "what? Everyone knows how new weds are" I galred at him. "I shall split this hot tea on your crotch and then we'll see who's laughing." I smirked at how Justin's expression flattered. He just kept eating silently but he cursed at me under his breath. Eliza laughed and bit her pancakes. "Thanks jiha, sometimes he needs these harsh threats of yours."
Jackson : "so this is a usual act of you, not just threatening me"
Eliza : "she threatens you too? Come on ji ji, i thought you at least would be nice to your husband." I shook my head and bit my pancake. "I threatened him only once, don't make a monster of me, jackson." Jackson chuckled slightly, honestly I wasn't sure if it's a mocking chuckled or a genuine one, i couldn't even remember seeing him laugh.
Jackson : "once? Maybe I should teach you some math then." I rolled my eyes "focus on your breakfast, honey."
After a few moments eliza looks up at us and asks "btw how old are you Jackson? You don't seem too old"
Jackson : "I'm 27"
Justin : "dude you should talk more often, last night I almost thought you're mute" I couldn't help but chuckle but I quickly cleared my throat and tried to hide my laughter. Jackson noticed me and gave me a silent galre but he turned back to Justin and spoke up. "My mind is busy with some important things. I'm not very talkative anyways."
Justin : "that's even more suspicious now, why would you marry jiha at all? I mean she..." Justin stopped when he saw my dark expression. "Never mind, I wish the best for you guys"
Aunt rosa : "why didn't you invite us to your wedding? I've always wanted to see that day in your life, jihanah."
_right wedding and these stuff, but how am I going to say we didn't hold a wedding ceremony?? What kind of couple wouldn't want that?
"Um..we actually didn't hold a ceremony. It was just us and our parents, you know something quite and private is really more comfortable." Jackson spoke up after me. "Yeah, we just married and preferred not to sound too much."
Justin : "okay...so tell me, how did you two meet?"
Jackson : "at a business gala, I know it doesn't sound so romantic but that was a start." He smiled slightly so smiled back held his hand on the table. "It actually was romantic but anyways, let's talk about it later."
Around one hour after we finished breakfast Eliza suggested us to go swim in the pool, well who says no to swimming? And luckily I managed to  convince him to come and swim too.. Though it was hard.
While I was enjoying the water on my body and the sun over our head I heard Justin and Lucas, my other cousin talking together about us.
Justin : "I mean, they've been married for only two months yet their so normal and not so affectionate. Aren't new weds always lovey dovey?"
Lucas : "yeah I know what you mean. Even Jackson didn't seem so happy to be here last night. They whether had an argument or something. They didn't even give us a good explanation for how they met."
Justin : "and what couple wouldn't want to have a wedding ceremony? That's just so weird and unlike jihana."
_shit...
I thought for a moment then I swam towards Jackson and when I reached him, I wrapped my arms around his neck and clung to him. His eyes widened and a slight frown along confusion appeared on his face. "What are you doing??" I sigh and take a deep breath. I didn't know what I'm doing myself. "Just play along, okay? They're already doubting us." He glanced at lucas and Justin from the corner of his eyes then looked in my eyes. "You're crazy"
Jiha : "okay then let's keep being distant and unusual so everyone finds out about the marriage contract" he scoffed but gently wrapped his arms around my waist and growled "just to make sure you know, I don't like this plan."
Jiha : "you'll thank me later."
Jackson : "what do you expect me to do now? Just stay in this position or...?"
Jiha : "I don't know, don't you know anything that sounds lovey dovey? "
Jackson sighed "oh god."
Jiha : "just do something, they already have noticed us." Jackson thought for a moment then leaned closer, his nose touching mine, our eyes making contact one more time.
Jackson whispered "I'm saying again, I don't like this idea" he kissed my cheek and forced a smile "same" I leaned even closer and suddenly I found my lips on his. He was also surprised but as soon as we noticed what happened we pulled our faces away.
How did I get here? I felt like I couldn't breathe with my heart ramming against my ribcage. After a few moments I composed myself "...are they still looking at us?"
Jackson looked at them and then at me. "no they're not" I sigh in relief. 
After a few minutes we pulled away. Honestly my heart still was racing because of what happened earlier though I tried to remain calm and normal.
I was talking with Eliza while swimming and she kept asking questions or teasing me.
Right when Jackson got out of the pool
His phone started to ring so he picked it up and walked away to a private place. A few minutes later he came back and looked at me who was still in the pool. "We should go"
Jiha : "now? Why? What happened?"
Jackson : "I'll tell you later, just let's get ready and leave now..honey." I sighed and got out of the pool, he handed me a towel so I could dry myself with.
Aunt Rosa stepped in and spoke up "you're leaving already? It's too soon, can't you stay more?"
Jackson : "I'm sorry, there's something important to deal with so we really have to go now...Btw thank you for inviting us, we had a great time here."
Aunt Rosa : "of course. I would like to see you more often in family gatherings. Plus, you two are my favorite couple now." She smiled.
Justin : "especially with the pool events." Justin teased again and I rolled my eyes at him.
Righ after I dried myself I went inside the house to change and wear my clothes.
