"I wove you, daddy." My daughter says as I close the book I was reading her.

"I love you too, princess Tati." I kiss her on her forehead as she closes her eyes. I switch her unicorn nightlight on before exiting her room.

"Baby, you don't have to keep thanking me. You're her father and she's your daughter. It's only right." Gloria responds.

The hair on my arms are standing straight up as I watch her whimper in fear. A masked man has a gun pointed to her temple. I sprang into action and grab her waist pulling her closer to me, as she grips the sheets around her naked body. I place my body in front of her, protecting her from any harm.

"Who the fuck are you!?" I yell as he now has the gun aimed at me.

He stands there with no response and I hear the door open.

More men enter and this time one of them is holding a sleeping Tati. My rage gets the best of me as quickly grab the mans hand and throw a punch to his throat. He grunts in pain while falling to the ground. I take the gun and place my foot on his neck and aim the pistol at the man holding my baby.

"Please! Please give me my baby!" Gloria cries out.

My heart is beating faster than my body could handle. I had to remain strong for my girls and couldn't show no weakness to these motherfuckers. But deep down, I just wanted to bend to their will and do whatever they wanted. Deep down, I wanted to cry.

"Put my fucking daughter down!" I yell at the masked men.

We watched as they parted ways to make room for my enemy, Roan Belushi. My grip on the pistol becomes more apparent as I feel the imprint of the handle between my palms. The anger building inside of me feels like a pressure cooker, ready to combust.

"I will paint these walls with your blood if you lay a hand on my child," I scream at him as he steps closer.

"Ha, tsk tsk. You're in no position for idle threats, Artemis." He responds with his thick accent.

He continues. "I am not only leaving here with your child. But I will also take that gem behind you and boy will we have fun. I will touch every part of her body and mark her as my territory. I will hold her down as she watches my men ship your daughter off to the highest bidder."

"No!" Gloria yells out, while crying profusely. I hold her back with my free arm not wanting him to hurt either of them. But I know if he gets out of here with Tati, we will never see her again. It's risky but I'd rather risk my daughter's life in the comfort of her home. Then, for her to be tortured somewhere and she's terrified. I just hope I'm a as good of a shot that I claim to be.

Quickly, I look at the man holding Tati, I aim my gun at his head and shoot him in the center. He falls taking Tati down with him as she awakens screaming.

Roan takes out his gun and tries to shoot at me and I tackle him to the ground. Gloria, naked, runs over to Tati and scoops her up in her arms as Roans men try to grab for them. I hear the door open and a smoke bomb and tossed into the room.

"Gloria! Get down!"

I watch as Niko comes in holding a Tommy gun and begins airing the room out. Bullets are flying everywhere as Roan and I fight. He pulls a knife out his side pocket and stabs me in the arm.

"Fuck. You motherfucker!" I yell as I lift him up and throw him against the wall. That seems to slow him down a lot.

I take this opportunity to look for my girls and I see them hankering down in the corner. Gloria is covering Tati with her body. A man begins to approach her, and I bend down to pick up the gun and begin firing at him. The sound of the bullets is overshadowed by Gloria and Tati's screams. He collapses right next to them and I run over to them.

"Gloria, give me Tati!" She hands her to me.

I forcibly grab Gloria by her arm, demanding she look at me. "I need you to stay on my ass. Do you hear me? Do not leave my side. Do you understand?!" I say, assertively.

She nods, "yes."

Niko yells. "It's clear. We have to go now!"

I look over to where I threw Roan and he's gone. "Where the fuck is Roan?" I question Niko.

He shrugs his shoulders. "I don't know. I was too busy killing everyone else."

Niko peeks out into the hallway. "It's clear. Let's go."

Gloria grabs onto my arm as we follow Niko down the stairs. "Where's Alicia?!" Gloria asks Niko.

"We had left after dinner to go out. When we returned home we heard you screaming. I ordered Boris to take Alicia to the safe house." He explains.

We continue slowly walking through the house. With Niko aiming the gun at every corner as I covered us from behind. I whisper to Niko, "how the fuck did they get in here undetected? Where the fuck were the guards?!"

Niko stops and looks back at us. "That's how?"

We stop and see all of our guards in the living room passed out. Someone had drugged them.

"That still doesn't make sense. In order for someone to do this, they'd still have to gain entry into the home." I tell him.

We freeze when we here the sound of a revolver gun cylinder close shut. All three of us turn around and I damn near pass out at the sight of someone I thought I'd never see again.
