Chapter 8

Rachel's p.o.v

Let's just say California is the dream life.
Cameron and I were house hunting and we have arrived at our first house.

"So Rachel what do you want this house to have?"

"Well Cameron I want a in ground pool a big yard and a master bedroom."

"Sounds good to me, especially the bedroom were gonna have to get a big bed." Cameron said with a wink.

I slapped Cam in the arm "Cameron Alexander!"

He just smirked and got out of the car.
"Stay Bear we'll be right back."

After house after house and house Cameron, Bear, and I found our dream house. It had everything we wanted.

I went online and ordered some furniture and other things for the house while Cam went out grocery shopping.

After about an hour I heard the door swing open. "I've got food!" Cam yelled.

I put my laptop down and walked out onto the porch.
"Well what do we have here my sexy boyfriend and bags of food this couldn't get any better."

I smiled and placed my arms around Cam's neck and kissed him softly on the lips.
I pulled away and winked at Cameron.       He started to whine "Your such a tease it's not fair."

"Well Mr.Dallas you'll have to earn what you want and you'll get your award."

I kissed Cam softly and walked into the living room and sat down and watched some tv while Bear was cuddled next to me.

About 3 hours passed and I was still on the couch with Bear when Cameron walked into the room.

"Hey Rachel I just got a text from Matt and he's having a party at his house do you want to go?"

"Yea sure let me just go get dressed."

I wasn't just getting dressed I was going to be the biggest tease to Cameron.

I picked out a short tight black dress and some black heels. I curled my hair and did my makeup. I grabbed my phone and walked out to Cameron.

"Woah.." He stared me up and down.
"On second thought babe maybe you and me could just stay here and you know.."
He trailed off and stared at the wall.

"Very funny Cam we're going to this party now let's go."

The whole car ride we jammed out to Taylor Swift.
When we got to Matt's house the music was blasting, his whole front yard was covered with red solo cups and it reeked of alcohol.

Cam and I walked into Matt's house holding hands.
Back in my home town I never had any girl friends all my friends were boys. I only had one girl that I would call my friend Cali Hills. I thought I would never see her again once I left but that was until now.

My grip on Cam's hand loosened and I ran toward Cali.
"Cali!!" I shrieked
"Rachel?"

I hugged her tight "I missed you so much I haven't seen you since high school!"

"I know it's been forever!!"

Cali has changed a lot.
Her usually long blonde hair now had been died brown. Her nose, lip, and eyebrow were pierced. Her outfit was just not her or was it and I just don't know my friend anymore?

"Wow you look great." I smiled
"Thanks not bad yourself."
"Oh Cali I almost forgot this if my boyfriend Cameron, and Cam this is one of my friends back home Cali."

"Nice to meet you."
"You to." Cali said shaking Cam's hand.
"Wow Rachel nice job Cam is hella fine I'll leave you to alone see you around, and text me." Cali whispered to me and walked away. Turning around only to wink at me and Cam.
