A Minecraft Movie Pre-Rewrite

A giant orchestra along with an electric guitar, a bass guitar, and drum set plays a small instrumental of Viva La Vida on a shot of a wrecked castle and village in a giant wall. TryHardNinja begins to sing on shots of a brown-haired man in a blue shirt and a ginger woman in a green shirt walking through the ruins.

I used to rule the world
Seas would rise when I gave the word
Now in the mornin', I sleep alone
Sweep the streets I used to own

A group of four appear out of a blue portal, a boy with a blue cube, a girl next to him, a black woman behind them, and finally a man in a dirty, eyesore of an 80s outfit. They each look around a grassy area, suprised at the blocky life around them.

I used to roll the dice
Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes

A horde of Zombies, Skeletons, Creepers, Piglins, Blazes, Wither Skeletons, Ghasts, Pillagers, and Illagers attack the town, back before the modern day. Villagers run around as Noor, Sunny, Ari, Zuri, Makena, Kai, and Efe try to fight the horde off.

Listen as the crowd would sing
"Now the old king is dead! Long live the king!"

Next, the man and woman, wearing crowns, and various tribes of Villagers and Builders run in different directions as the town burns.

One minute I held the key
Next, the walls were closed on me

The group walks into the town discovering the man and woman on one of their walks.

And I discovered that my castle stands
Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand

A bigger instrumental begins as the group talks. "Who are you?" the boy asks, only getting the man to turn his head a bit. "Steve," the man somberly says, "Heh, dumba-" the 80s eyesore says before getting bitch slapped by the girl. "Shut up, Oscar!" she quietly exclaims before turning back to the former king and queen.

Throughout the instrumental as it continues, we see shots of various builders in their villages, Villagers in said villages speaking of, "The King," animals in the world, Illagers, Zombies, and more until we cut back to Steve, fully turned around, seeing the blue cube in the boy's hand.

"Wait, is that..." he doesn't finish his sentence as the music continues.

Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh
Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh

As the chants begin, it shows Steve and the queen running through their broken-down castle with the group behind them. They reach the library, Steve pulling out a book speaking off, "The Cube of Creation" and "The Cube of Destruction."

(Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh)
Gazed off into the boundless skyline
(Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh)

Steve and the queen put on armor, their faces evident of new hope.

Note block choirs playing in the sunshine
(Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh)

The queen teaches crafting to the boy before he asks for her name, "Alexandria, but just call me Alex."

Turn around, pick up my sword and wield
(Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh)
The blade that once forced evil mobs to yield

Steve grabs a netherite sword from a statue before paying his respects. As he walks away, we get a split second view of the statue, showing a pink marble statue of a man in a pig mask and crown.

(Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh)
If this battle should leave me slain
(Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh, oh)
I know Herobrine will call my name

The next shot shows a copy of Steve, but with glowing, white eyes on top of a Ravenger.

Better to take a stand
And that was when I ruled the land

Timpanis get hit for each name.
