Jisung was finishing his building project and learning the answers for the next test. It was past 3 a.m. but he still had some things to do.

How he loved sleeping and wanted nothing more than to lay his head on the pillow.

But he was too stubborn to resign and be mad at himself the next day for getting a bad mark and not giving his best.

He sipped the very strong coffee he was drinking for an hour or so and shivered at its bitterness.

He loved coffee, but it was another paradox in his life. He drank it more often just to stay awake than to enjoy the taste. He was sure that combining energy drinks and coffee wasn't the smartest decision, so in the evenings, he drank only coffee.

His heart wasn't as healthy as of any other ordinary person but he couldn't care less. If not living his best then what's the point of it?

Minho yawned and stood behind the cash register. He was a dance major but he still had to learn all these unnecessary subjects he didn't get.

The last lecture got him bored so much that he got sleepy. The cold weather outside stimulated him a lot but when he was back in the warm interior his sleepiness came back.

"Hi Chan" he waved to his friend with a smile.

"Hi Min! How are you?"

"Pretty good. I had my last lecture with Mrs. Choi and it was honestly the worst but apart from it, it's a good day"

"She's still torturing dance majors" Chan laughed and Minho grimaced because everyone knew why she hated these certain students so much.

"Don't remind me that"

"But your face when you figured that she was Mrs. Choi's daughter was hilarious"

"It was terrible. She thought that I'd made her a grandmother meanwhile Lia was too scared to even be in the same room with me alone"

"Poor girl, she must be traumatized by her mother"

"That's why I don't date girls anymore. Are you ordering something?" Minho asked when he saw two other boys walking in their direction "Welcome in sweet cookie" he said the standard welcoming formula that he repeated every time someone entered.

"No, today I'm waiting for someone"

One of the boys nodded but the other was already running to Chan.

"Channie!" Felix hugged his blonde friend tightly.

"Hi Lixie. It's been a long time since we saw each other"

"Too long. That's my friend Jisung" he showed the squirrell-looking boy with messy hair to the older.

"Nice to meet you" he said and tried to smile but he was visibly tired.

"Nice to meet you too, Felix told me that you're also composing songs"

"Yeah, I've tried a few times" He lied. He was writing something almost every night between studying and university stuff. He just couldn't forget about it.

"Hello" Minho came back from the kitchen "Your order will be ready in 3 minutes. I'm Minho by the way" he looked at the two boys. One with freckles and quite long blonde hair and the other with glasses and round cheeks.

"Jisung"

"I'm Felix, Chan's friend" he gave Minho one of his warm smiles full of sun.

Jisung started talking with Chan but when he realized that one of his items was missing he exited them and ran back to the class.

His lungs were burning because of the freezing air and slippery ice covering the sidewalk, which made running harder.

But there was no way he'd give up on getting the most important thing in his life back.
