With Golden Freddy.

After the others finished their conversation Golden Freddy turned his back to his family and opened his eyes. He knew it was rude to eavesdrop but he had too, so he could hear what his kids were talking about, and when he couldn't hold back his tears anymore he let out a choked sob. His family care about him that much? Why?

After what he did, leaving them on their own for 24 years, coming back with a child to make their lives harder, hurting them when his temper became too much for him to handle and he'd hit them to make himself feel better, he was terrible to them and they still care about him? He sobbed and tried to wipe away the tears but they wouldn't stop coming.

And then he heard it.

A voice in Golden Freddy's head: "Your brothers should have never forgiven you." It sounded like his father. His father abandoned them, and made Golden look after his siblings and was the one to give him the anger issues he has now, it was Nightmare, his father.

Nightmare: "I told you to look after them, but you didn't. And you ended up just like me." The voice mocked Golden.

Golden Freddy: *No! I'm nothing like you.* He thought back to the voice.

Golden's father / Nightmare: "Oh, yes you are, wanna know why?" Golden shook his head but his fathers voice still gave him an answer "You did the same thing your old man did. You abandoned your family and came back with another addition for them to look after. It was your fault, Golden Freddy. Do you know the saying, like father, like son? It fits perfectly for you, y'know son. YOU'RE. JUST. LIKE. ME." His fathers voice filled his head, he was starting to believe his fathers voice.

Golden Freddy: *NO!!! I-I DIDN'T MEAN TOO. IT WASN'T MY FAULT!!! IT WASN'T ME. IT WASN'T ME. IT WASN'T ME. I'M NOTHING LIKE YOU. I'M NOT. I'M NOT. IT WASN'T ME. I DIDN'T CAUSE THEM ALL THAT PAIN, IT WAS YOU. YOU LEFT US ALONE, AND I HAD TO LOOK AFTER THEM.* He fought back and thought he was winning the fight... but.

Golden's father / Nightmare: "You did what I did, you left your family for a long time and came back into their lives, you still hurt them Golden, look what you did to your son, you tore his arm off because you can't control yourself and you will never be able too, because you take after your old man and you will be hated by everyone when you do something to kill a family member. You almost did remember? Freddy died because of you, you killed him, and you're lucky that Spring loves him, he didn't do it for you, he did it for his nephew. You are just like me. Did you tell them how your wife died, no, because they will hate you for killing their sister-in-law, you killed her out of anger and you didn't tell them. You're a coward, and that makes you the exact same person as me... SON." His fathers voice just reminded him how much of a horrible person he is.

Golden Freddy: *IT WAS YOU. IT... WAS... you. It... was... me. IT WAS ME. IT WAS ME. IT WAS ME. It was me. IT WAS MY FAULT. IT WAS ALL MY FAULT.* He cried and held his head as he curled into a ball and cried, after he believed it was him who caused his family so much pain. And so he did the only thing he always did when he cried, he sang, hoping his siblings and sons were asleep... news flash, they weren't.

Golden Freddy: You wanted peace, I gave you a war.

We disagreed, I showed you the score.

When you needed me, I walked out that door.

When you asked for change, I remained.

Guess I didn't see it.

Golden Freddy: *I didn't see I was hurting them until it was too late, and I ran away to protect them... but I just made it worse for them because they needed me.*

The things that would break you in pieces.

When all I would leave you's defeated.

Until you got the strength to get up and leave, now I see.

I lost the best part of me.

Golden Freddy: *I'm the worst father ever*

Best part of me.

And if I had to start, and do all of it again.

I'd open my eyes and see you.

Push all my pride aside, I'd see then.

What I couldn't seem to defend.

Golden Freddy: *I couldn't protect them from my father... and I couldn't protect them from myself and my stupid anger issues, I'm the same horrible person my father was.*

Guess I didn't see it.

The things that would break you in pieces.

When all I would leave you's defeated.

Until you got the strength to get up and leave, now I see.

I lost the best part of me.

The best part of me, best part of me.

Golden Freddy: *They should all hate me.*

And if I had to start and do all of it again.

I'd open my eyes and see you.

He sang the last verse with a broken voice as he started to sob more.
