In the blink of an eye, the final night of the Founder's Festival approached.

The guests happily drank their woes away, its blissfulness and ecstatic hurrahs sang through the winds as everyone danced the night.

Colliding with the traditions of my previous life in Japan. Many people wore kimonos and yukatas during this occasion alongside the citizens with Tempest.

Warm lights did the hanging lanterns spread throughout the moonlight's gaze  with its mellow emanation, the variant aromas of delicious street foods blending the air of smokey and savory.

Most importantly, humans bore no fear engaging in these activities freely with the monsters surrounding them.

It gladdens me to know the main ambition of this Festival has gradually progressed its way to reality. Progress is evident yet fragile to maintain.

I sauntered through the plaza, calmly taking my time to appreciate the warm night and to revel in the rare sight. All the while finding a certain someone who earlier insisted I spend the rest of tonight of the festival with her and ‘everyone’ else.

I'm not sure what she really meant by everyone, she never mentioned why. But I should just trust her and hope it's not a dead person. Though knowing her, it probably is.

"BESTIEEE!!!" A shrill ran through the blissful chatters, calling me out with a bottle of sake in her hands. A bright smile as she waved her hand vigorously at me as I noticed other individuals, two specifically standing behind her. I could recognize Guy from here but can’t seem to percept the other one.

Okay, enough of that. Who the hell gave her sake? She's a child! I mean, mentally.

<<Answer: not found.>>

Why answer when you don't know?

Approaching Milim, I easily recognized the other individual who stood beside her, this person being Luminous. Well, except for Ramiris. I actually didn't notice her until I got closer. She's too small to notice.

Though I must say, I'm quite surprised to see they were even able to convince Luminous to come along. Knowing her, she wouldn't even bother about things like this, specifically with Veldora around, but I could assume they must have forced her to, considering that expression she's wearing.

I see, so what Milim meant by ‘everyone’, she meant the other demon lords.

"Milim, and the.. rest of the demon lords as well?" I walked over to them with a smile, snatching the bottle of sake Milim was proudly holding in a swift second. “Also, who gave you this?”

No response, I did expect that.

I noticed Veldora not too far from us grilling gyozas not too far from us. Its savory and smoky aroma attracted many passersby. It even caught my nose.

He’s got quite the audience around him now, huh? Hopefully he doesn't blow his cover. No one knows where Veldora's lair is except for those on the inside.

I do remember him telling me that he can cook better than most after snooping through my memories during his boredom in my ‘stomach’. I guess he wasn't lying then. It does smell nice.

But I still cook better, obviously.

"Oh, don't mind me here, Milim forced me to come along with her persistent excursions." Luminous remarked, an allusion of disdain in her tone, crossing her arms beneath its sleeves as she glared at Milim with contempt in her eyes, her response back to that was but a little giggle.

I could say she must still be furious about what happened back at Walpurgis. Well, at least it isn't my fault they bluntly exposed her identity.

"Rimuru!! There's going to be some fireworks later, right?! We wanna see it with you!!" The pixie glided around in excite,
