Cal had always been closer with his older brother Tony until he takes a trip to South America with the intention of doing charity work . He had always been seen as the weaker stark , the scrawny. Stark the only thing he had that was bigger then Tony was his heart spending his life so far giving to others with his brain , using his smarts to rebuild homes or whatever he could to make their life's easier . So he as on a beach having already cleaned the entire area and built multiple shacks . Cal was teaching the locals how to play some beach games when people started screaming and running in panic but as he stood with a couple and there children a huge green beast of a man , the hulk . He felt ice running through his veins. As the man charged at them .cal panics and lifts the children into there parents arms and with everything in him shoved the couple so harshly they flew backwards to safety making him smile in relief as a huge firm hand smacks his right side audible cracks rings out as the hand continues its motion and poor little cal now soars at blinding speed high into the atmosphere instantly bringing Bruce back who falls in horror watching as cal soars through the sky becoming smaller until cal flew right into a strange glowing cloud causing a huge and bright explosion to illuminate the sky as cosmic energy now seeps deep inside of poor cal feeling as if it was lava consuming every cell in his body Glowing brighter and brighter before the coloring leaving a ball of his figure vibrating and giving of energy he groans extending his body that grows and bulks up the cosmic energy changing him in ways he could never imagine .he finally lets the pain consume him and passes out right as he fell back into earth. Landing in the middle of the parking area of the same beach ..shield comes and takes cal who stays in his unconscious state for next year While his body continues to change glowing the entire time .
