THE next few days were a blur of activity. Nyx contacted his network, his trusted associates, his allies in the shadows. He arranged for the best doctors, the most discreet specialists, to examine Lilith. He secured a safe house, a hidden haven, where she could recover, where she could heal.

He also began to investigate the attack, the incident that had left Lilith traumatised. He knew it wasn't a random act. He knew someone had targeted her, someone who wanted to hurt her, someone who wanted to silence her.

He followed the trail of clues, the whispers in the shadows, the whispers of betrayal and deceit. He delved deeper into the underworld, into the heart of the city, into the world he had become so familiar with.

He found the truth, a twisted web of lies and manipulation, a conspiracy that reached the highest levels of power. He discovered that Lilith had been targeted because of him, because of his influence, because of the power he had amassed.

He was furious. He was enraged. He was determined to find those responsible and make them pay.

Red Hand.

They are also well-known for their connections to underworld groups that are infamous for smuggling drugs and contraband. They regarded Nyx as an opponent that had to be conquered.

Nyx typically remains composed when making decisions, while Red Hand eliminates his men-it's just nothing to him. He could consistently find others ready to battle for him as the ruler of the underworld.

However, now that he has discovered his younger sister, Lilith. Nyx is unable to control his anger and allows his feelings to consume him; he picks up a gun and keeps shooting at the mannequins.

He just discovered her, there's no chance he will allow him to take her. Not on his lifeless body, he will confront them individually and pierce their heads in front of his mansion if necessary. He will never hand them over to her, "Any updates on them?" Nyx commanded his men with authority.

"No, sir, we haven't-" Nyx glared and shots him, his anger getting the better of him. At this moment, his veins are filled with bloodlust as he gazes at another one of his men, wanting for some good news.

Hunter lowered his head nervously, gazing into Nyx's eyes, "They claimed that one of our men spotted their leader, Silas Marquz, heading towards Spain. There's been speculation that it might not be the Red Hand responsible for this-" Nyx aimed the gun at him.

Hunter shakes but kept speaking, "However, there's a chance that it's his Brother, sir... Senti Marquz-"

Nyx glares at him fiercely, Senti...that bastard, those siblings are a hassle. Silas is unlikely to take action after a war declaration against him, but Senti... he's certainly a wild card, to put it mildly.

He once blew up their mansion simply because he was bored and had nothing else to do in his life, he is quite a bother. Nyx must take action. Senti must cease his antics, but he should be careful, it's likely that two of them are responsible for this.

He would avoid all risks, Nyx raised the gun and seized Hunter's collar.

"Collect the men and position them around the entire perimeter of the mansion. Do not permit anyone to enter or exit without my approval, if I find out you've allowed someone in or out, I'll shoot you in the head and give it to the pigs. Understood?" Nyx snarls as he seizes Hunter's hair.

Hunter swallows hard but agrees, while Nyx shoved him aside. "Leave before I shoot all of you," Nyx warned as they dispersed to tend to their affairs.

He will gathered his forces, his loyal lieutenants, his trusted allies. He planned his revenge, his retribution, his justice. He would make them pay for what they had done to Lilith.
