Sarina's career started modestly as a legal secretary and part-time typing teacher. In 1979, with just $2,600, nine students, and two part-time staff, she launched "The Office Business Academy," a training venture that marked the beginning of her entrepreneurial journey. Today, that academy has evolved into the Sarina Russo Group, which includes multiple companies focused on job access, recruitment, apprenticeships, psychology, and education.

Building a Legacy of Opportunity

Over the years, Russo's vision has expanded, leading her to establish Sarina Russo Job Access, which now operates over 200 sites and employs more than 1,000 people. Her ventures have empowered countless individuals with skills and opportunities for employment. By 2015, her achievements had earned her a prominent spot on the BRW Women's Rich List, ranking her as one of Australia's most successful women.

Beyond business, Sarina has played an influential role on numerous boards and advisory panels. Her memberships include the Clinton Global Initiative, Queensland Premier's Advisory Board, and the Women's Leadership Board at Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government. Her commitment to entrepreneurship and education was honored in 2024 when she was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia.

Sarina's passion for empowering others extends to her roles on television as a motivational speaker and former host of "How to Get That Job."
