Jungkook was oblivious of the type of game everyone was playing so when yunjun asked him If he was okay playing this game he nodded approvingly. yunjun satisfied by his answer pulled him down and they both took seat around the table, jungkook sticked close to yunjun,wary because of unfamiliar faces, others were waiting for some more people to join,
So after a moment later they started playing spin the bottle but with a twist,one amongst the guy said " the game is simple, we spin the bottle and if the bottle head points at you then we get to asked a Questions and if you fail to answer you drink a shot.But the number of shots keep on increasing for the subsequent rounds and If the bottle stops at you for the third time you have to kiss the guys who faces the bottle bottom. "
Jungkook panicked After hearing the rule , he protested, "I think I can't play"...he tugged yunjun's shirt signalling him to go ,he didn't feel nice playing a game out of his comfort zone, he wasn't going to give away his first kiss to just some stupid ,weird nonsensical, game...nope never...
yunjun smiled knowing Jungkook's comfort zone, he compiled but as they were about to get up someone pulled Yunjun's down.
"oh come on dude it's just a game don't be party popper!" One said and yunjun gave him a sympathetic smile.
"and you, we know you're a Nerd but please don't rub off your nerdiness to yunjun , try and chill okay its his birthday, let the guy have some fun actually!" the guys remarked returning back to his friends.
but his words echoed in Jungkook's mind,it bothered him, he turn to look at yunjun and saw him smiling sympathetically . he straightened his shoulder and said back ,"okay we will play." and everyone cheered for him.
"kook you sure, you don't have to force yourself " yunjun whispered, holding Jungkook's hand tenderly
"its okay yun, m fine it's just a game don't worry " jungkook squeezed Yunjun's hand and focused on the front, a guy from Taehyung's class was watching him intently making him squirmed in his seat uncomfortably, and he sighed inwardly when , "so let's start " a girl said as she was about to spin the bottle ,a voice startled them,
"I will also play "
everyone turned except jungkook, he knew whose voice was that instead he ducked his head more ,averting his gaze , mingyu his classmate exclaimed surprised, "Taehyung, you want to play? but you never play games like this?" Taehyung only shrugged, "But now i want to play"
Taehyung said taking his seat and Sumi also joined, Jungkook's nerves reached A high Taehyung sat opposite him , his eyes pinning jungkook to his spot ,they were gazing so hard at him that jungkook felt the weight of his stares ,he hesitantly looked up and matched Taehyung's eyes but he quickly looked away seeing Taehyung's unflattering eyes ...
they started playing shortly but the whole Time Taehyung's gaze was fixated upon him , they spinned the bottle and it landed on yunjun and everyone exclaimed "yeahhh,birthday boy!! now you have call the last person on your call list and tell them 'i love you' " yunjun chuckled shaking his head and redialed the last number and Jungkook's phone blared erupting everyone in a teasing laughter, jungkook giggled answering the call "hello yun"
"hello kook, i love you "
jungkook giggled bashfully, hiding his face inside his fist replying ," You did it!"
And with that the game resumed ,Jungkook watched people taking dare answering questions, drinking soju as punishment and he felt relieved, less frightened than before as if he could fit in amongst other —
Now it his turn, the first question was asked by yunjun so he knew he was safe , "so what's your favorite thing to do leisurely?" jungkook chipped happily " watch thriller Movies!" Everyone laughed seeing the excitement dance inside his eyes , one said , "didn't knew you fancied thriller jungkook, i had thought you'd be more of Disney type of guy —" yunjun interveened "dude you had no idea he a goner for thriller Movies ,last Sunday he made me watch it whole afternoon —"
The game continued one asked Taehyung something but instead of answering he silently took the drink not bothering to spare his eyes away from jungkook and jungkook felt cursing under his breath for this rudeness, the bollte spinned and stopped at him making his smile warmly but the question snatched his smile making his breath hitched.
"Come on jungkook tell us if you have any crush from our university"
Everyone asked And jungkook kept flickering his eyes from Yunjun to Taehyung, yunjun was only person Who knew about this, he tried hinting him to help but the others were really persistent hence he decided to go for the drink.
Third question asked was too personal for him to spill so he chose dring ,and after drinking three shots his head felt Light, and hazy , he hiccupped and giggled foolishly at yunjun ,yunjun smiled back watching Jungkook's inner child resurfacing ,his innocence and charming nature bursting out of his zone, head lolling to sides he hummed a unfamiliar melody under his breath and Taehyung stared at him warmly, his eyes speakig volumes, his concern exploding whn the Jungkook's doe eyes stared back at him, his eyes were full of mischief and chldlike innocence and Taehyung felt the need to protect him, keep him away from everyone and everything, his observed jungkook was drunk and his veins recoiled in worries —
The bottle spin again Stopping at Sumi. A girl asked" Is your crush present With us , if yes then give them a kiss on their Cheek" sumi blushed looking at Taehyung but was bitter when she found Taehyung's eyes fixed at jungkook, her mood turned soured and course of jealousy burned her within, she glared at jungkook with scrutiny.
So she rose with determination towards Taehyung , who was busy searching for Yoongi, he was getting worried for jungkook, He was so occupied in his thoughts that he Failed to hears the cheering and a approaching Sumi.
