MK came back to the shop after delivering his last noodles for the day, Tang greeted him when he entered, he waved as a response as he felt his pocket buzz. He grabbed his phone and answered it. He was met by Mei's energetic voice, "MK!! You cannot believe what I saw in the park today!" Curious by this he asked, "What did you see Mei?" Mei quickly started ranting about a cute puppy she had seen.
MK was still on the phone as he left the shop to head over to flowerfruit mountain to train with Monkey King as he suddenly bumped into someone. "Sorry-" he began to apologize when he looked up at the person- or demon? He had bumped into. She had long dark chocolate hair along with a matching fluffy tail and ice blue eyes that were currently staring down at him. MK grew nervous under her gaze and started rambling and fidgeting with his hands, "Oh- I'm so sorry, really, I-".
"Shut up." The woman's voice was cold, before MK could react the woman's mumblings caught his ear, "kids never change, always so annoying." MK panicked as he heard Mei was still on the line, he fumbled with his phone and brought it to his ear again. He listened to Mei's worried questions, "MK, you good? Did something happen? Did you drop your phone again?" He got distracted by the woman turning around to leave, he quickly turned his attention back to his phone as he heard Mei say his name. "Sorry Mei, I just bumped into a lady on my way to my training with Monkey King".MK saw in the corner of his eye that the woman stopped when he mentioned Wukong, he shook it of and started making his way to flowerfruit mountain again, staying on call with Mei the whole way.
MK and Wukong were sparring as the last part of his training for the day, he felt the sweat run down his forehead as he tried his best to win against Wukong, but alas he lost yet again. He was growing stronger quite quickly, or- that's what Monkey King said.
Wukong sat down on the small porch to his house and patted his hand beside him, offering MK to sit down and rest after all the training they did today. The sky had turned from blue to orange and pink.As he sat down he thought back to that weird lady he had bumped into, maybe Monkey King knew something about her, she was a demon after all, right? Wukong noticed his puzzled expression, "You good bud?" He snapped back and looked up at his mentor, "Yeah, I'm just thinking and I-" he cut himself off, unsure if he should ask.
"You?" Wukong asked, confused, MK decided to ask, "I wanted to ask if you knew any demons with dark brown hair, piercing blue eyes and a tail? She kinda reminded me of you and Macaque, cause I think... she had a lavender mask like you have-". He looked at his mentor's expression. Was he nervous? Or scared? MK couldn't read his face, "Bud, I think it's time you go home". His voice had turned a bit cold. MK wanted to ask why but didn't, he did as he was told and headed back towards the shop.***
Wukong took a deep breath and turned around to go look for Macaque when he popped up right in front of him, leaning against a tree. "I heard everything, you're sure it's her?" Wukong composed himself again and nodded, "Yes, also don't sneak up on me like that!" he watched as the shadow monkey chuckled, but then he stopped. His ears twitched as he listened to something, "She's coming."
