"Can we stay like this forever?" he asked calmly.
"You know that I don't believe in forever," I chuckled.
"Don't be like that, Lia. You'll stay here with me, forever." I could sense a bit of worry and longing in his voice.
I couldn't help but smile at him bitterly.
"I don't have to stay here forever, you made me feel like I've already lived a forever kind of life." I assured him that everything was already enough for me.

His grip on me tightened, and I could feel him pulling me closer into his arms. Then he suddenly kissed me on the forehead.
I just laid my head on his chest. It always made me feel at peace to hear his heart beating so fast.
